Is that what you think God is, Maurice? Some harsh beast who bars a person from Heaven, and subsequently throws them into Hell if you don't have a good reason for him not to do so?

That seems more human than divine, doesn't it?

But no matter- three reasons:

1. God made me, and things God made shouldn't be considered worthless.

2. I have forgiven people of their sins against me, if I have sinned against God, shouldn't he forgive me?

3. I am weak, but I have struggled; I could not find truth, but I earnestly sought it. Eternal Damnation is too steep a price for merely failing, especially since I am still seeking salvation.

An atheist couldn't give god any reason to be let into heaven because they believe in neither god nor heaven.

An agnostic would, just in case!

The only way this erm..question can be answered is with a cuff(slap)...and that is..since eh ""god"" left...none of us have been to "Heaven" dead or alive and with our technology it will be a hell of a long time into the future before we ever could,(pun intended). That is fact....but the only way any one would know that is if they were aware of the Greek New testament where it it talks about the Lord's prayer saying "our father who is in 'OORANUS'.I am sure u guys have heard of it....ooranus to the greeks is orion that is the constellation of orion and if you know That house, you know there are many mansions in it.(Pun also intended). Also if we were to ever get there(its lightyears away), who's ever there may want a heck of a lot more than 3 reasons to let us in.(to that solar system)

1) It'd be really nice of Him.
2) I'll give Him $20.
3) Based on the principles of basic equity, God should be estopped from denying me access to Heaven, because I reasonably relied on His representations, made by His agents and manifested through His creations, that a more rational and accurate explanation exists to explain my existence and the world around me.

It depends on what you believe if your one of the people that says only true believers are going to heaven then no i cant, hell here i come. If you believe that you earn your way to heaven by good deeds then yes, however right now i don't think i will.

And pagans and heathens too?

I don't believe in heaven but I'll play

* I've lived a honorable life
* I've helped more than hurt throughout my life
* I've honored and protected my family at personal expense
* I don't convert others to my religion, I let them find it themselves.
* I'm not a sexist, racist, homophobic jerk

Sure, if a Christian can give three or more GOOD reasons why Christ doen't exist.

And to answer your hypothetical question, if an (a) omniscient and (b) omnipotent God existed, then he'd (a) already know my three reasons and (b) they wouldn't make any difference to his decision.

If I wanted to play along, I'm sure I could come up with plenty of reasons. But first I'd need to know which god specifically you are referring to!? Depending on the god, my answers could piss some of them off... if they were real, of course.☺
