Can anyone answer with actual bible verses both for and against same sex relationships? Does it matter if the two people are in a monogamous, serious relationship? Does it make it better/worse than a male/female relationship where one of the partners cheats on the marriage vows?

Same-sex relationships are to be non-sexual (i.e. friendships) and nothing more.

Cheating on your opposite sex spouse with a member of the opposite sex is just as bad if not worse because you made a vow to God not to commit adultery...

The men of Sodom and Gomorrah were the first recorded in the Bible to face punishment for their sexual perversion. In Genesis chapter 19, we find two angels that pay a visit to Lot’s home in Sodom. In verse four, we find that “all the men from every part of Sodom” surrounded Lot’s house, and told Lot to bring out his visitors “so that we can have sex with them.” The pro-homosexual revisionist argues that the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah was that the residents wanted to commit an act of rape. That the rape would have been homosexual is not an issue, according to their argument. However, Jude 7 indicates that Sodom and Gomorrah’s punishment was due to their sexual perversion. Their sin was not simply one of violence (rape) but of sexual immorality (homosexuality). As further evidence of the sinful nature of homosexuality, Leviticus 18:22, and 20:13 both describe homosexuality as “an abomination.”

Contrary to the opinions of some, the Old Testament is not the only place in the Bible that condemns homosexuality. We previously mentioned Hebrews 13:4, where Paul exhorted us to honor the marriage bed and keep it pure. In Romans 1:26-27 Paul is very specific, “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” In 1 Corinthians 6:9, Paul wrote, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.” The Greek word from which the King James Bible gets the word “effeminate” is malakos, which literally means something soft to the touch, but is used as a negative metaphor to refer to a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man. The “abusers of themselves with mankind” are those men who engage in unnatural sexual relations with other men – homosexuals. That is also how the NASB, the NKJV, and the NIV translate that verse. Also in the New Testament is verse 7 from the book of Jude, defining exactly why Sodom and Gomorrah were punished – homosexuality.

There is NO Bible verse for same sex relationships, sorry.
The verses against are scattered through both old and new testament.
Here are a few from the New Testament because that is what most folks find easiest to read

Both homosexuality and sex before marriage or cheating are all equal in sin. They are lumped together under the heading of fornication.

God blesses sexual relations between a Man and woman who are married. After all God Gave Eve to Adam in the first marriage and He blessed them and said become fruitful and become many and fill the earth Genesis1:28
God blessed Noah and His sons Genesis 9:1

But sex for other purpose other than a loving married couple capable of producing children male and female is all considered wrong.
Read 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 or Ephesians 5:5

All of this how ever does NOT mean that anyone who WAS a fornicator in the past cannot enjoy the blessings of God's Kingdom, but that person MUST cease that way of life in order to have God,s approval 1 Corinthians6:9-11

No, it's false. If you study the verses in context and compare the other texts from Scripture that refer to these individuals, you will discover that. Also, if you read the passages in the original Hebrew you come out with the same conclusion. None of these folks had an immoral or "same sex" love relationship. The Bible NEVER says that David and Jonathan had intercourse... where did you get that??? I would encourage you to not to believe everything you are told. Hey, don't take my word for it... pick up a good translation of the Bible and think for yourself! It's a free country.

Adultery, fornication, and homosexual acts are all sins:

Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Fornication is sex outside of marriage.
Adultery is sex with someone besides a spouse while married.

If a person has been saved and no longer practices the sinful acts, they are just like any one of us who has been forgiven. The slate is wiped clean by Jesus' blood.

BUT, people who continue to practice the sinful acts will be judged by God for flaunting that sin in His face.

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
This verse is sandwiched in between a verse about how evil it is to burn your kids alive as a sacrifice to Molech, and a verse about bestiality being abominable. Context is important.

"Rom 1:21-28 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

This passage tells us that, in some cases, homosexuality is a judgment of God. This passage shows that God still considers homosexuality to be unseemly, wicked, and full of severe consequences (such as AIDS, which used to be called WOGS, or Wrath Of God Syndrome, because it was found in homosexuals).

There are no verses that are for same-sex relationships, and the Bible is clear that the only marriage that God recognizes is a marriage between one man and one woman. It doesn't matter how faithful or unfaithful the homosexual couple is, God still calls it an abomination. That is pretty strong language which cannot be ignored.
