i dont know about bringing a curse to his own jewish brothers, but if he wasnt who he said he was, why did he have such a large impact on the world today, after 2000 years? why do so many jewish and christian people hate eachother when we worship the same God?

Trust me, Jesus is not our problem. He lived and died a practising Jew.

And 'chosen' doesn't mean what many think. The covenant with G-d was offered to all the nations - but only the Hebrews accepted it unconditionally. So as Jews we are the 'choosing' rather than the 'chosen'. Big difference!

Besides, this was before Jesus was even born.
