I'm sure a lot of people know what you mean. People have been picking out what they like and discarding the rest of the bible as myth for generations. Hey, you're just like most people.
by the way...
Adam and Eve wasn't a 'kaboom', evolution is a THEORY, and where was the 'place' that never flooded?

If you're going to have belief in God, then you'll believe everything in the bible. The bible is God's word and is infallible - eternal and ALL of it is truth! God cannot lie! He is without sin; Holy and undefiled! God created Adam and Eve! They didn't just come about as in 'KABOOM'. God is all-powerful, all-knowing and is everywhere! He created man and woman just as He has created the earth, the stars, sun, moon, etc. He created EVERYTHING!

Evolution is only theory - NOT fact! It's man's idea of how man and animals and the planet came about, just as 'the Big Bang theory' is nothing more than a made-up idea by man, but it's not how the everything came about!
Bottom line is, if you don't believe in God, why believe in only parts of the bible as in God and Jesus, but NOT Adam and Eve? It makes no sense to believe in God and Jesus, but not God's word! You either believe the ENTIRE bible or you don't - can't pick and choose what parts of it to believe and disregard the rest of it!

It doesn't work that way, either you believe in God and all that entails or you follow Satan and all that it entails.

The Holy Word of God, which is the Bible says that Noah lived through a flood that destroyed all the evil people from the earth and that Adam was formed from the ground and God breathed the Spirit of life into his nostrils and took Adam's rib and formed woman for his mate.

Either you believe that this is true or you believe in what Satan has set up on this earth for all to believe . . . The choice is yours!

God Bless You

evolution isn't real. It's just for people who refuse to believe in God and how he made the earth because they can't figure out how God did make the earth. Atheists and scientists say that evolution is real because they can't come up with how the earth was formed. Have you ever read Genesis?? That says how Adam and Eve were created. And yes Noah's Ark was real. And there is proof....Haven't you heard that people are finding parts of the Ark...And how do they know?? Because it's a special kind of wood. It's all real. Read the Bible.

How can you believe in God and Jesus, and what the Bible says about Jesus' death, but not believe the rest of the Bible? You cannot just pick and choose. Either all of it is true and trustworthy or none of it is. It's not a buffet table, man.

You should stop believing cause without Christianity there would have been no Holocaust. Only the singling out of Jews as the killers of christ teachings for centuries prepared the ground for the rise of Nazism based on the hatred of the Jew.

my stance with all the old t shtuff....

it doesn't matter to me if all of those events happened litterally or not, it's not so much the physical that's vital, but the message. if it really did happen, awesome, if not, awesome. it makes no difference.

i find it difficult though, to believe that Christ is the son of God and Savior and performed numerous miracles, if one is not willing to accept the old test. a possibility.

God never said it was necessary to accept the old t as full truth, He just said to proclaim Christ as your savior and to live your life according to His teachings. i don't think He is concerned with human logic and rational. But only with our heart.

Lots of people have a form of religious belief that does not rely on a literal acceptance of scripture.
