I don't make fun of organized religion. I find it dangerous. Ridiculous but dangerous. I don't make fun of a god that is so twisted, vicious, and downright weird. And by challenging belief in him does entrench those who have blinders on but doesn't "bring Him more into existence" or all the deities you deny would be stumbling over each other by now (I do believe in those deities, btw).

But, on a serious note, things to just come to existence because the idea of them is questioned. That only works for the mind itself, because the ability to question is the capacity of thought...so by questioning the fact that you can think, you prove that you can think...you cannot prove God by that same notion, however, due to the fact that we are bothered by the concept of God, as brought up by other people. It is a social issue, not a intellectual one...
