I as a Pagan have wondered this for a while since I converted. I almost hate myself for not believing. For being surronded by other Christians. No matter HOW hard I try I can't belief. I always feel more comfortable with my Gods. I don't feel like it's worth bothering with anymore. I ask him to show himself to me that he really does exist but I never feel anything. I always feel better with the Gods. Why should I? Why should I even bother even more?

your Mother is a nasty old sinner who is moldering in the ground and she was just used by the Father and although I spout Bible this and Bible that I completely ignore the Scripture that says she is Blessed and all generations will call her such. I know I am to love my Mother and my Father and I know that I am a member of the body of Christ and even so I will , continue to discount any honor coming to the Virgin Mary. I indeed know Dear Jesus, that the Father did not think much of you so he didn't even prepare someone to be your Mother so in closing here I wish to thank you for welcoming me into the Kingdom here where I know your Mother is not welcome but you intend great feasts in my honor!!!

I want to be there to see the look on his face.

I've re-comitted my life back to God so many times, but i'm still doing the things He doesn't like after a while I remain in proximity with Him, then I go back to my old-self again.

I don't feel worthy to ask for God's forgiveness for the hundreth time and I can't do anything because I feel like I don't have His blessings.

I'm getting to the point of hating myself!!!!!!

All the animals and humans, even babies, died except those on Noah's ark when God, supposedly flooded the earth.

Don't you think he overreacted just a little? What did the babies do that was wrong?

Is this a deity worth worshiping?

Please don't give me the "hybrids" nonsense.

There are so many things that I'm not sure if I am sinning or not. I know the ten commandments but there are other ways to sin than the ways to sin in the ten commandments. How do I know if it's a sin or not?

I was just reading the blog of a Catholic and in it he quote 2 Maccabees 12:46 "It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins." Is praying for the dead supported anywhere else in scripture? The author of 2 Maccabees states that there may be errors in that book. Since both Catholics and Protestants believe the Bible to be divinely inspired doesn't the author of a book of the Bible saying there may be errors in it mean that specific book should not be considered inspired and thus doctrine should not be taken from it?

2Maccabees 15:38 So these things being done with relation to Nicanor, and from that time the city being possessed by the Hebrews, I also will here make an end of my narration.
2Ma 15:39 Which if I have done well, and as it becometh the history, it is what I desired: but if not so perfectly, it must be pardoned me.

If he can make the image of Jesus appear on a grilled cheese sandwich, make religious statues cry tears of blood, or make the virgin Mary appear and speak to young girls, why can't he prevent the rape of children, or their infliction with cancer.
Perhaps, he's more interested in teasing people who are searching for him, and can't waste his time on children.---Ya think?

Faith is the belief without evidence. Belief without evidence is the definition of ignorance, a precursor of stupidity, and a symptom of insanity. Having faith in anything is nothing to take pride in and is aboslutely something to be embarassed about.

Thus, I treat this as a scientific question:
"Does God exist"

So, what is some physical or mathematical evidence that God exists?

If there is no evidence then I have to assume that God is as real as other things that have no evidence and are believed in by faith: the tooth fairy and monsters in my closet!

I asked a question about baptism earlier, and there seems to be no one who believes baptism is unnecessary that will touch on it. So, in your opinion/interpretation, what does it say?

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
Acts 2:38

I want you to think hard about the words repent and remission and what they mean in the context of that scripture.
