There are so many things that I'm not sure if I am sinning or not. I know the ten commandments but there are other ways to sin than the ways to sin in the ten commandments. How do I know if it's a sin or not?

youre correct...its all in the ten commands...EX20 sin is the breaking of the law...also things to avoid are greed and selfishness

The Holy Spirit becomes your conscience. Treat people the way you want to be treated,with love,kindness,patience.
Sex outside of marriage is a sin. Dealing with mediums,physics,an the occult is a sin. Illegal drugs is a sin. Drunkenness is a sin. Gossip & slander is a sin. Anything that does not honor God is a sin. You really need to read your Bible. Read Levitcus chapters 18 & 19. This may help.

If it is wrong it is a sin you must surely know the difference between right and wrong.. I doubt God is worried or bothered by petty sins, it is character and His will for your life that matters...
Yes, there are some sins that you must repent for or you will go around mount Sinai over and over again until you change...

It's the same like doing badly on an exam, what do u do? U compare YOUR RESULTS to the RIGHT ANSWER. If your answers deviate from the rigth answer then u've wrongly answered the question and vice versa. We muslims compare our behaviour to what is mentioned in our holy book "quran" and to our prophet's sayings "sunnah".

if it is harming others or yourself, dont do it. Look out for the welfare of other people at the sake of your own selfishness. Cause we are all selfish. Babies first learn "mine" instead of "no, please, you first." we are all sinners. But Christ still died for us and we are able to be saved from condemnation of our sin if we believe and repent
