If he can make the image of Jesus appear on a grilled cheese sandwich, make religious statues cry tears of blood, or make the virgin Mary appear and speak to young girls, why can't he prevent the rape of children, or their infliction with cancer.
Perhaps, he's more interested in teasing people who are searching for him, and can't waste his time on children.---Ya think?

When you talk to him, will you tell him, ( if you don't mind ), that I would like him to salvage the kids, and take YOUR life for his test of MY loyalty.

We can't reasonably hold god responsible for the ridiculous claims by her true believers.
According to them she not only created the world and everything Mesopotamians knew was in it, modern thumpers have her creating things we just found out about a few months ago.
I say none of this poppycock can be blamed on god, she is essentially stuck only with the original story and it multitude of redactions absent of the absurd additions.

Everyone wants to sit here and ask questions about God and why can't he help the sick children or take cancer from a child. I want you to ask your self this..why should he do anything for non-believers. This world has told him to go away..by not letting prayer in schools..and other things. So let me ask you...if you say there's no God..then why do you want to ask a question why don't he help the sick...God loves everyone the same..if you rebuke his son..you rebuke Him. God is a very jealous God and he doesn't want us to have other things in our life's to take away from him. We as Christians are not sinless..we sin everyday..and we ask God to forgive us and then we try and not to do the same thing again..yes, everyone goes through hard times..if it loosing a child, not having enough money, a failed marriage...all terrible things, but if you are living for Him, then he will provide for his children. God can see what is going to happen in the future..if this little girl got sick and God took her with him...she is better off if he saw that her life would have been awful..same with everyone else...all of us are his children and he loves us..but we have to show our love for him. God is good, if we don't obey him, there is consequence. That might sound cruel but you are given a choice and if you don't make the right choices in life then its our own fault.

Perhaps you're not seeing the big picture. It may come as a surprise to you, but everyone dies. "Everyone must die once and after that comes judgement". Life continues on after death. People's action now will affect their eternal destiny.
Yes God has allowed some innocent to suffer, including his own Son Jesus Christ, and many in the Christian community who he's adopted as children of God. But only for a moment.

Your question is like asking why the schools allow my girls to become drug addicts. Number 1 they are not into drugs and number 2 you can not blame someone else for your problems....it starts at home. When do we as human beings stand up for what is right and what is wrong and try to change those things to make the world a better place. We as parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and neighbors, etc should be more aware of what is going on with our communities and families.

God can't prevent horrible acts from happening - just as he can't change who man is. Without suffering, we can not find out how strong we are. Without seeing others suffer, we do not understand what compassion is. Without evil in this world, we would never know what goodness is when we rise above it.
And for the miracles you mentioned, you might wanna add Elvis in there too. :)
Edit: it's transparent that you're upset over your child, and I said nothing about my God, or if I even have one. You're asking a loaded question here and you're looking for an answer as to why your child has to suffer.
Short of getting a direct answer from God himself, you'll never be satisfied with any answers from us, so if this is a way to vent your anger and frustration, that's fine, but what you're doing is breeding more anger and frustration just from this thread.

The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth has NOTHING to do with tears of blood, appearances of Mary, grilled cheese or any other side show..., He has given mankind back ALL authority and dominion stolen from him and now YOU can live by faith or not. He does miracles every day, but it is not magic tricks to prove anything. Miracles are God's mercy and love for those who are praying and believing Him for them..., they are God's answers speeded up in earth-time to an instant "now".
I am sorry you are disappointed and hurt.., but this is NOT the way to get God's love.., it is time to surrender and tell Him so and ASK for what you want, in Jesus' name.., He is always faithful.
BTW, He doesn't answer prayers from people who do not follow Him and who are His children.., He CAN, but they have no covenant with Him and His promises are to His own.
Are you born again? Have you asked Jesus to be your Savior and Lord? Then we all are alike, we have to receive what is already ours by faith. God isn't withholding anything. He wants to bless His children and has provided every thing in advance.

God is more interested in saving souls.
I don't know why his image is on a sandwich. Why does a cloud look like Mickey Mouse sometimes? Coincidence probably.
It is a short time we are here, and no matter what happens to us on this earth, our soul, spirit, karma, what ever you want to call it, will go on. It is to where that counts in the end!
