This sorta thing worries me. If it's determined that sexuality is determined by particular genes, and those genes are identifiable while a baby is developing, will the abortion of the child be considered okay in the eyes of people who's beliefs are against homo/bisexuality?

How about if genetic engineering comes into play? Would it be acceptable to alter your child's genes to prevent their sexuality straying from hetero?

hmmm im a muslim and i really wanna know why there is a Old testament new testament and all these others. in islam there is only one book (the Quran/ Koran) and it has never been changed so as to not change the meaning and commanndements in it. i really do wonder why it isnt the same with the bible?????

If you believe there are only a limited number of places in "Heaven" why do you still try to recruit more members???

When I was little, I was Christian and I believed in Santa.

When I was about 4-5 I lasked my mom if Santa was real
She said no.

That's also when I started to question the accuracy if the whole God thing.

Santa was a magical fat dude that gave away toys to the whole world every Christmas, with magic, and decides if you were naughty or nice. God was a dude that created everything(through magic) and chooses if we go to
heaven or hell.


In my simple young mind they seemed pretty similar, and when learning one wasn't real, I realized there was just as little proof of Santas existence as there was of God's existence.

Do you think my situation is a common one many little kids go through?

Do you think the idea of Santa hurts Christians?

i met this married man three months ago in a drinking session and we end up having sex. it's my first time to do it with a man and honestly i enjoy it, being kiss and hug by another man but this is more on physical sex as we both love our wives and kids. this meeting goes on at least every week, we enjoy our company and after sex we go back to our wives, this is very discreet and we're doing safe methods. my sex with my wife had improved since then and she enjoys the new enthusiasm. i know i cheated my wife the worst to another man. i'm thinking on telling her but i don't know how and i'm loking for the right time. i'm weighing the option that my wife will freak out and this secret will go out to our families and friends. i don't know what to do..if i tell my wife and she accept it will my cheating be absolved. incase she agreed that i continue seing this man while we remain married is the cheating no longer an issue. please help me make up my mind??? thanks!!

Do people take this scripture literally?:

"But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs from the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it." (Matthew 19:11-12) The Scholar's Version has: "There are castrated men who castrated themselves because of Heaven's imperial rule. If you are able to accept this (advice), do so."

Or is this another case of Pick'N'Mixism where you only follow the bits you like and take the rest to be "metaphors"?

tell me would you decide to be kicked out of your home, to have your parents dislike you and disown you because of who you desire,
would you choose to be ridiculed by people who dont know what your about.
and even after this has happened, would you not choose to go back the the "acceptable" option, face torment by those who choose to hate you.

so what makes you think that a gay guy chose it, what makes you think that someone, who was discriminated agasint, wouldnt just change their minds again.

Do you really think being gay is a choice?
