and we should worship him forsaking all other gods and idols
Then why do Christians worship Jesus?
surely as the "Son" of god he is not the "one true god"?

They worship Jesus because some priest told them to do so.
They do not want to think logically that if God can create Adam & Eve without any parent then why he won't be able to create Jesus without a father ! I don't know how long they want to be remain illogical & ignorant about the truth.

No, Jesus was a member of the Trinity. Taken as a whole, what is sometimes termed the Godhead, is actually the one true God. Its very doubtful that Christians should worship Jesus. He said on more than one occasion 'ask in my name and it shall be granted'. This implies that you are expected to ask God.

He further said that everything should be done to glorify the Father. When he was asked about prayer, He gave the Lords Prayer, which starts Our Father. Those and other indications all point to whom to pray to. You only have to follow them and not decide for yourself.

For Catholics, the problem is similar in that many pray to Mary. Yet Mary is not even a member of the Trinity.

Oh but He is. Except on Palm Sunday He never let others worship Him. He only allowed it then to fulfill prophecy.

Jesus is King of Kings, Lord of Lords. But flesh is lesser than spirit. That's why until He rose from the dead He wasn't to be worshipped. John says In the beginning was the Word & the Word was with God and the Word was God when describing Jesus. In Genesis you hear God repeatedly say "Let us make ..." Angels can't create. So it's obvious there is more than one. Only man did God speak the breath of life into.

Isn't your breath part of who you are? Yet it can't be separated
from your flesh except at death. W/o it you die w/i moments. Yet your brain, heart, etc. can be dead but the body kept alive with that same breath thus it has an invisible power. It only leaves when the spirit does so they are intertwined. Jesus was the son because of being in the flesh (lesser) but now He is risen to newness of life in the spirit.

In the end God will exalt His son to take over so that every knee shall bow & every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father (the last part many forget is there). Do you really think God is going to just retire?

Through Christ's death & resurrection He became all things to all men. Both judge & savior. One who made the rules yet now has the right (so to speak) to judge justly & yet still forgive since he died for those sins in our place.

Think of it like this. From birth the child's father makes all the rules, has all the power & authority. But as the son grows to be a man himself & begins receiving praise the father doesn't resent it as he knows most of whom that son has come to be is because of the effect of the way he raised him. So the worship, praise, etc. of his son glorifies the father. It doesn't take away anything from him. How much more so in the case of God & Jesus because they started out together in the beginning as one.

John1states "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. " Jesus is the one referred to, Jesus is, and spoke, the word of God.Reread this verse and you can see what it means. In 1st. Peter the words "Our God and Savior, Jesus Christ" are used. Jesus said that whoever has seen Him has seen the Father (God the Father.) The word of God came from Heaven saying "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Additionally: How did Jesus do the miracles He did? Walk on water, heal the sick & diseased, turn water into wine, feed over 5000 people with only two small fish and two loaves of bread? The reason He did these things is because He is God/the Son of God. The Bible shows there was more left over than what they began with. No one has ever duplicated such as these. How else could Jesus have had the power to overcome death, come back to life, and arise back into Heaven? Even one of the Roman guards that took part in crucifing Jesus saw that what they had done was wrong and he said "surely this is the Son of God."

That is an excellent question.

The idea of the trinity really runs contrary to everything the scriptures say. All it takes is a reading of the gospels without preconceived notions to see that God the Father is separate and distinct from his son, Jesus Christ.

The primary "question" here seems one of semantics regarding the term "worship".

The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses fully understands and agrees that Jesus Christ the Son deserves and receives what can be described as "worship", but only when the English-language word "worship" has been properly defined. The obeisance and honors due the Christ should remain unambiguously subject to the "exclusive devotion" which is owed to the Father, Jehovah God. The Scriptures quite plainly show that true worship is uniquely devoted to the person of Almighty Jehovah God the Father. His Son, Jesus, personally taught that Jehovah deserves a unique form of "sacred service".

(Matthew 4:10) Jesus said... ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’

(Luke 4:8) Jesus said... ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’

(Exodus 20:5) I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion

Jehovah the Father specifically directs that Jesus the Son receive obeisance and honor. Note that Jesus is at God's right hand and has *BECOME* better than the angels.

(Hebrews 1:6) [God] says: “And let all God’s angels do obeisance to him [Jesus].”

(Hebrews 1:3-4) [Jesus] sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. So he has become better than the angels

From where does Christ's authority come?

(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.

(Acts 2:36) God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you impaled.

(John 3:35) The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

(Acts 5:31) God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand

(Psalm 2:2-6) The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one... Jehovah himself will hold them in derision..., Saying: “I, even I, have installed my king [Jesus]

Almighty God has given us a channel for pure worship and it is through his son Jesus Christ.

That is why Jesus said,
"No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him; and I will resurrect him in the last day."
John 6 v 44

Edit: Well if you're only interested in the answers of people against Christianity, why ask Christians?

Can you explain how in big bang theory matter with greater density than the sun escaped gravity caused by its own mass as required to explode? Come on answer it, prove your genius. You have nothing, is that the best you can do?
