A person could die for their beliefs in God and not believe a Satan (or evil figure) even exists. Gave you a star, dude. Interesting question. Had to think. Thanks. Don't think I'm kissing backside for some points. That was really a good question.

No. Satan is real.God and the devil had a conversation,and the devil said that people believe in God only when life is good for them.When things turn bad,they cease to believe in God.The people blame God for acts as if he does not exist.God therefore,allowed the devil one century in which to exercise an extended power over the world.The devil chose the twentieth century.Although the devil's 100 years are finished,he still has many followers who are reluctant to let go.Today ,as we can see all around us,everyone is dissatisfied,they cannot abide each other.Just look at the number of divorces and abortions still happening.

So what your saying is you believe in a God but you don't believe in the devil? I personally don't see anything wrong with that. I share the same belief that you do. I sure some right winged religious people will be here to debate with us though. Not that that is a bad. I really want to see others response to this.

Worshiping and believing are two different things. I believe in both God and Satan but only worship the God Yahweh.

Satan is us. Get rid of humans and you get rid of Satan. Satan symbolizes our lower, natural, material nature. We and we alone are responsible for our evil as well as our good behaviors. We cannot lay blame at anyone's feet except our own when we behave according to our lower, natural, material nature. We are accountable for our choices; no one else is. We have the capacity to be the light of the world, or the darkness.
