Short answer, if you don't read the Bible you won't no the truths behind it and Satan will try to stop you from understanding the truth/blind your eyes. Satan doesn't torcher souls in Hell and he doesn't even go to Hell from what the bible teaches. Satan get bound in chains and thrown into the abyss totally different place. Satan does fulfill a purpose though he separates the weeds from the wheat so to speak the good fish from the bad so to speak. He also influences and works through humanity to destroy earth and everyone on her he is spite also. He works through what I believe to be his spirit sow into mans soul "US" from the beginning when eve ate of the forbidden fruit which enabled the spirit of sin to enter mans soul and change him forever until this day. Hope this gives you some in-site use it to save souls it was hard testing and the Lords love that have brought me thus. God Bless the World!

Satan, long ago known as Lucifer, was chief amongst the angels of heaven, quite musical and a sight to behold. However, he chose to rise above the Throne of the Lord and was cast down to earth along with his angels. The fact that when all of this comes to an end that satan will be in hell, it wont be to torture souls, it will be to burn with all the others that rejected God in life. So, yes, satan is a rebel, but God has said that he, his angels and his followers (humans who reject Jesus as savior and God) will burn in the lake of fire and bromstone that burns forever and ever. That, he will not and cannot rebel against.

God did NOT give Satan the job of torturing souls in hell. Satan does not/will not run hell. The day will come when God will judge the earth and Satan himself will be judged for his own sin. And he will be cast into hell, into the lake of fire and brimstone, and be tormented day and night forever and ever.

ABRAHAM'S FAMILY IN EGYPT AND JOB IN THE LAND OF UZ
Joseph was governor of Egypt 80 years, after age 30, his whole family was in Egypt from the time Joseph was age 40. Gen.46:13, 27; Job had to be among the 70 members of Jacob's family that went into Egypt, year 2298,
Jacob died year 2315, Joseph died year 2368, Job has returned to land near Jacob's twin brother's family, Esau [ = Edom Gen.36:8; Lam.4:21 ]; Job 1:1;
So about the year 2370, Job is the most Just man on the face of the earth, he
or his family will not be in Egypt world Empire #1, but the god of this world that accuses the just day and night Job 2:1-6; Rev.12:9,10; God told Satan to spare the life of Job, Satan will not make Job turn away from God, he knows what this old world is all about 2Cor.4:3,4 [ the devil Satan is the god of this world, this is the world that ends, the 2nd coming of Jesus and his eternity is the end of this world Matt.24:3 ]; Jobs family in Egypt Exo.1:8,11-13; Abraham's family, persecuted. Moses born year 2433, the year Job died,

saved. At age 80 Exo.7:7; 12:37,40,41; he saves 600,000 able bodied men from Egypt, 430 years after Abraham gets the Promised Land covenant, his family will have the Gal.3:16-18; law of the land and the laws of God, 470 years after Abraham to be law keepers and law enforcers, the first on the earth at year 2553. So Job is not the only one in Abraham's family that Satan has tried to devour. 1Pet.5:8; Abraham son #20, in genealogy of Jesus, David son #34, Jechoniah son #48 Eze.1:2; lineage of Joseph the husband of Mary, Mary is lineage of Nathan, son of David, Mary is mother of Jesus son #62. Satan does not have the job of torturing souls in hell. He will be cast into hell along with those who don't belong to God. He won't rule hell; he will just be another of the inmates.

Lucifer's original job was to see if he could tempt people away from God, or so the interpreted Bible says. He just go too big for his britches and now he's trying to sway people not just against God, but to himself as well.
