No, 5 minutes per group should be allowed for each group and subgroup before classtime:
1st. The Catholics 2nd. The Protestants 3rd. The Jews 4th. The Muslims 5th. The Buddhists 6th. The Hindus 7th. The devil worshipers 8th. The agnostics 9th. The pantheists ....and 10th. The Christian Scientist/Jehovah's witnesses and other cults. Then the bell rings and everybody switches classes and repeats the same "freedoms of religion."

IMO Public school teachers should not advocate religion in any way. Public school is not a place of worship. That said, if a student wanted to take a minute between classes to pray, that should be allowed so long as it is kept quiet

Yes. The law guarantees freedom from religion. At least from the government, and that is who public teachers work for.

of course they should
if there is to be anything like prayer time
then I would expect it to be a few moments of silence where everyone does their own thing
not everyone in a class at a public school is going to have the same beliefs or be praying to the same God

No. it depends on the country's religion. if it were, say, a muslim country, by all means, they should pray. Or if its a christian country, then pray. but DO NOT FORCE non believers to pray or not pray. If your a muslim, pray islam. if your a christian, then pray how christians pray. freedom of religion. goodluck! religion should not be a cause for troubles

I'm an atheist and I don't mind if people pray in school. Just don't force those who don't want to.

Personally, I don't think that any state-sponsored organization should touch religion, but there should also be no prohibition against religious practice unless the practice interferes with classes or is disruptive.
