Yes I agree, the Romans crucified literally thousands and thousands of people. Countless others have sacrificed themselves for others with out any prior knowledge that they are gods son and therefore going to live for ever anyway. It seem a bit weak at best. And to top it all off, he's dying for our sin's... How's that work exactly?

It is a big story to tell my friend. It is a big deal if only obeyed.
If a deal is made and anyone did not obeyed accordingly, the other person can go to court is it not?
It is a deal that if you accept Him that He took all your sins on the cross you will be saved and live according to his teachings as far as possible, rest of the things He will do it for you.

The reason its a big deal is that we are all sinners and were destined to suffer in hell. Humanity needed a savior. Jesus, who is God in human form, came to earth and died in place of us, taking the punishment we deserved.
By doing this, He gave us the right to be reconciled with God and be admitted into heaven. This is why Jesus is the only way to heaven. No one else, not Muhammed, Buddah, etc. was qualified to pay our sin debt in full.
This is why we are required to accept Jesus as our Lord and savior if we want to spend eternity in heaven.

Jesus lived a perfect life and died for everyone else's sins, even for people like you who disregard His great sacrifice. But with that avatar, I'm no longer surprised.

You'd think he was the only person to be crucified in history, that the Romans especially invented it for him alone, and that nobody had ever suffered the same torment and suffering of the cross.
Anyhow they nailed him to a tree not a cross, the tree of woe
Oh here we go, he died for our sins, these people don't even know their own doctrine. The cup was removed, duh, so therefore he died a mortal death. So no different.

He died on the Cross so that we might have eternal life with Him in heaven. That was how God sacrificed Himself so that we can lead a sinless life and enter into heaven.

It isn't a big deal to everyone, only to those who make it so.I personally think that someone who lived their life for years in poverty and with painful afflictions then to die from ebola is far more of a big deal.

He suffered the unbridled wrath of God poured out on Him for the sins of His people. No human has ever faced that, nor suffered that much.

Yup, It would have been much more dramatic if he had died of cancer or a case of flesh eating disease.
