People tend to get affected, by the good spiritual energy they feel at church, and then falsely believe, that a religion must be perfect, in all its beliefs to produce, such good energy. They fail to realyze that perfection is not a requirerment for workability on this planet, since it just does not exist here. Hopefully you hear, some positive beliefs come from church. Don't be too critical about the spiritual, just try to tune yourself into it, as much as possible though meditation/prayer, mind-body exercises and a good diet. The spiritual senses need to be exercised, in order to make more sense out of the spiritual.

Because you are being pulled towards The Dark Side. MWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Ok, kidding.

If you don't believe, why go? I started having the same feelings in my latter years as a Christian, and eventually became an atheist. I simply couldn't convince myself that I believed, and rather than living a lie, embraced what I really am. You may not be an atheist necessarily, but it sounds like you don't believe in what that particular church is preaching.

I would highly recommend doing some questioning and thinking on your own to figure out what you really DO believe.

because you have to roll out of bed, get ready and dress up, go meet with people you would never hang out with in your regular life, pretend like you like everyone while you know everyone constantly gossips about others in church, sit in an hour long service while your stomach is rumbling for lunch, then hear a message that is either: a). about everything you/we all are doing wrong and how you can/should do better, or b). about something that has nothing to do with you. Then you get to stand up, sit down, stand up sit down......
handing over your money to construction funds when the church is big enough now and never seems to have as much as it needs.
But then there is this god who loves you so much, but he doesn't love your actions, but he loves you, but he can't be around right now, but his love is perfect, except when he made/makes all those people suffer at his flippant will, but he is a god of love!!! Now we need some more money for the bus fund.

Fear. It's a true leap of faith to buy into religion,.Your logical self objects to accepting it now--the changing of your life from SELF-focus, feeling guilty for having human frailties that are not consistent with a religious focus, the nagging thought that now that you know better, it's bothersome to admit you fall short of God's plan, etc. It raises the question, though: are you not believing in ANY deity, just THAT God or religion, the concept of Jesus, or is it a specific doctrinal detail?

Your problem is, you are still seing things through the eyes of an intelligent animal instead of through the eyes of a child of God.
Therefore Jesus said:
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:3

That's the tempter talking to you;-{ ask the Lord to help.
Say, "Lord, help me to understand what these people do."
You're not the only smart one there; & they're not all stupid.
Admit that maybe you're the one who is out of step.
