I as a Pagan have wondered this for a while since I converted. I almost hate myself for not believing. For being surronded by other Christians. No matter HOW hard I try I can't belief. I always feel more comfortable with my Gods. I don't feel like it's worth bothering with anymore. I ask him to show himself to me that he really does exist but I never feel anything. I always feel better with the Gods. Why should I? Why should I even bother even more?

There are a couple of reasons why some people don't gain faith. First, there is lack of bible knowledge, and following this same line is that people don't understand why God permits suffering. These two are main reasons, but other reasons could be that the person is strongly attached to certain things, and decides that he/she would rather not have faith in God.
To gain faith, study the bible, as just reading it won't give you faith. (Just like reading huckle berry finn won't make you have faith in him as a real person. Study of the bible is what gives faith.) As you get to know more about God, your faith will increase, unless one of the other minor reasons holds you back, like being attached to practices not accepted by the Christian God.

The proof of God is everywhere. Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him.
If you die with out Jesus as your savior, then on judgment day when the books are opened, you will be found guilty of all your sins and you will be cast into hell as you so deserve to be. There you will languish in misery, because you will be separated from God and all that is good for all eternity.
If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you will be washed clean of all your sins in His blood that He shed on the cross for you. Then on judgment day your pages will be clean and empty of sin and you will be given a new body, the kind that will live for ever and you will live with God and everything that is good for ever and ever.
You can not be 'good' enough on your own, you can not earn your way, Jesus is the only way. HURRY!! You are not promised another moment. Read the Holy Bible and find out how to stay out of hell. Once you take your last breath it will be too late.
This is all true whether you like it or not, whether you understand it or not. Quickly now, before it is too late for all eternity.

Feelings are fleeting and should not be the foundation of a belief system. For Christianity, it is about commitment and conviction, not "feeling" God or feeling good.
You should become a Christian because God loves you. His Son, Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and me so that we could be forgiven of our sins. If we repent of our sins and want to believe in Him, He will forgive us.
Faith is not an overnight occurrence. It grows like a plant and the seed is salvation. Simply pray to God and ask for guidance thru it all.

It has to do with your perception of what a believer is to you and your place in that.... I feel for you but I will tell you it is not as complicated or troublesome as you perceive it to be.... it starts out as simple faith between you and God nobody else and it will take you where you need to go as you allow it to.... It will strengthen you and keep you in check when needed, and it is so practical that it will surprise you and lift you up at times! Not to say that you wont go through anything tough but life is that way..Relationship with God just helps the process of character and eternal hope ....

Because it is true. Salvation comes thru Jesus Christ and Him only. You feel more comfortable with your own gods because you don't have to be accountable to them. You don't have to be accountable to Pagan gods because they aren't real. But the God of the Bible is real.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
What are you really hoping for? Our deepest longings are met in Jesus Christ.

God has his Being of himself and to himself such that he is Absolute being and the definition of existence. Since God’s essence is his nature and God’s existence is the same as his essence it follows that God is existence.

Humm...what are YOUR GODS ?
Look around you.....Has He not already showed you who He is ?..........its like this if you see a building...you know someone built it.............so there is a builder........
so it is in creation...........Craetion itself..testifies that there is a Creator !!!!!
Doesnt matter whether you ever see the builder of the building or not...the building proves there is a builder....
so it is with God....you dont have to see Him to know HE IS.....
You have not seen all of creation............yet He created it.....does it mean it doesnt exist cause you havent seen it ??
Of course not...........and these your Gods? Are they not gods to you ? the way you want them to be to satisfy you and your desires....to please you and are they not easier to accept cause you can in your own way see them and no them to be ? BUt........have you really seen your gods...........or are they not gods at all...but what you make them to be ???
God is a God of faith and belief...........for it says........
" Faith is the substance of things Hoped for the evidence of things not seen ".............and it is by Faith we accept Him as He is..........AND BELIEVE unto righteousness.........
And " Faith cometh by hearing........and hearing the Word of God "..................
Just cause you say i asked and He didnt reply..doesnt mean He didnt.........maybe you just refused to believe He is.......and not willing to accept what you cant see or touch "
But just cause you dont see Him or Hear Him or have faith in Him or believe Him..........doesnt mean He dont exist..........
It just means you refuse to accept Him as He is...........
He is God and God alone........He is who He is........not what we want Him to be............, cause when we do that it is called idolatry...........and it is written " I shall have no other gods before me "
And if you put them before Him.........you will never see Him as He is !!!!!!!
