Yes.

You are part of the Body of Christ. We are knit together to do the ministry of Christ. Therefore, the righteous have no need of us. We are bound together for the sake of sinners.

We have no other choice but to live in the real world. We just have to be more attentive to what we do and how we do it. If you are a Child of GOD people will see it right away. There is this certain glow about you, your eyes are clear, you talk with authority. You have met people like this, I know you have as I have too. To live here is our test to see if we pass the test that was given to us before we came to this Earth. When we die we are then Earth Graduates and when we cross over we are working on our Post Graduate degree :) So it is meant for us to live here in the real world and too have a spiritual life. Seperate yourself from the obvious, you KNOW what that is and you will be OK. I hope this has helped, Blessings.

Very much so, but your interpretation of "spiritual" life and your dedication to it can make things difficult.

For instance, for me, I feel lying is a detriment to my spirit. Thus, I have taken an oath to tell no lies. This includes white lies, or excessive bending of the truth (I don't get fussy over minor exaggeration, for instance).

Something like that can make it exceedingly difficult to exist in the "real world." Sometimes, people really don't know what I did last weekend. I'll tell em (haha, they asked for it), but it's gotten me into trouble :P

Ultimately, it's not really seperate: you Are a spiritual being, and you Are in the real world, so you Are technically doing both, by definition.

Just difficulties arise depending on where you fall in the range of interests and your dedication to them.

Through your prayer life if it is consistent you will certainly come to realize that you do not belong "of the world" but outside it. This should put much in prospective. However if your prayer life is inconsistent then a very real possibility of falling back into the world of error will occur.

We are in the real world. You should avoid places where people are doing bad things. Because you will find your self falling in with them if you hang around long enough.

You make it sound like we are two different beings, spiritual and "real". In fact, our spiritual side and our material side are co-existing. One affects the other.
