So, I was watching Heroes the other day and I started thinking about time travel. We live in the present. Do you think that the past no longer exists and the future doesn't exist yet, or do they both currently exist but we just haven't learned how to travel between them yet?

I go to an apostolic pentecostal church and today we are doing a back to school bash, we are going to be giving away free food and prizes and theres gonna be a bunch of games and stuff. We will have a baptismal tank and two worship bands and we are hoping for God to do great things, how can I get over my fear of telling people about the truth, I have a strong calling of God on my life to evangelize. All Atheists, dont answer this... grow up.

Trying to ease the guilt they feel? Trying to make themselves feel better?
I found out from my best friend whom I've been friends with all my life that 8 people are searching for me on reunion.com. One person even called everywhere, including my best friend and one of my aunts searching for me. The person who called made a snide remark to my best friend when my father and grandmother died six days apart over six years ago. Then I ran into them 5 years ago and they just ignored me. It has been over six years since all this happened. When I moved a year ago I made sure nobody but my best friend would find me and she could warn me about intrusions. What is it with this person and the other people who are searching for me? Why the heck do they care now? Do they really need to ease their guilt?

why don't atheists and muslims and protestants and others read the bible and convert to word of GOD because only BIBLE is real truth in all the universes and under the earth,, and make this world a world of GOD and JESUS, with all CATHOLICS in the world, our priest across the street told me the end is very near..

I am referring to their concepts of exclusivity; that one must follow their beliefs in order to avoid eternal torment. This question isn't about the Biblical/Koran basis for these beliefs, rather it's about how they deal with this fact.

Believing that everyone else is going to Hell essentially dehumanizes those who practice other religions. It is linked to a lack of tolerance. There are a good amount of commonalities between the religions. They all encourage people to be good people.

Who cares whether a god puts his pants on left leg first or right leg first? These are silly details we are argue over. Why can't we focus on the common goals rather than the details?

NOT all of you do of course so this is only to the extremist out there who do not seem to respect that we are in a country where we all have a choice and each persons choice should be respected no matter what. Most non Christians do not bash you, except again extremist. why not let it drop both sides? No one is gonna change any ones minds so why bother? Allow everyone to believe what they want and respect it as I do.

A person is my friend no matter what their faith is as long as they are a good person or friend. Anything is is prejudice. I for one am not.

I am not atheist either nor a Christian. How can you be so sure you are right and the Muslims wrong or the Buddhists wrong? No one can know for sure so we should all respect one another's rights to choose our own beliefs.

So go ahead and start with the bashing but it is how I feel about many in this section lately. this silly battle needs to end!

If you were alive 3000 years ago, you'd probably be religious just like everyone else at the time. Lets say you lived in Greece, and your whole family believed with all of there hearts that there religion was true and prayed very hard everyday and even thought that there prayers were working. Would you be an atheist back then and tell all of these people that there religion is just a fairy tale and that they were crazy to think that praying to zeus actually makes a difference in there life?
