Christ told His Church He would be with it "until the end of time". And so it will be.

As much as it is loved or hated, it will still be around, but not so much or as wide as it is today.
The weaker people need a crutch to lean on, a shoulder to cry on and someone to blame when things go wrong, even if it`s their fault.
Think: If a person thinks right now that a magical god made the world in six days and rested on the seventh, and they believe it, they will believe anything, and that is proved by all the magical things in the bible that are still believed today.
They have been brainwashed so thoroughly at the impressionable age of three years upwards, that it is difficult to remove that rubbish from their minds - unless they are of the intelligent type that is;
What puzzles me is; why did such a wonderful, energetic tremendous person who could make a whole world, and probably universe, in six days, need a day off?
It doesn`t make sense but then, neither does the bible.

Yes because I will teach my children and my grandchildren the truth of Christianity and the importance of living out a legacy. So they will teach their children and grandchildren and so on. By the grace of God it will at least my grandchildren will be able to pass the truth to their grandchildren so your looking at least another 200 years of Christianity. And there is a VERY SMALL chance that I may still be alive in the year 2100 (I would be about 118) so if I am there will still be Christianity.

Yes, I do think so. That is only 93 years from now. There are young Christians that have a high chance of still being alive by then, as well as having children where atleast one would continue being in that faith. I have no reason to believe that the church will suddenly disappear in 93 years. It's lasted 2000.

Way back in 1500, atheists said that Christianity wouldn't survive another 50 years; they were wrong.
So tell me; will you still be around in 2100?

I think all religion and not just Christianity will have a very slow death and we might not be there to witness it. I am convinced that the unborn generation be a lot more intuitive, free-minded and couragious. It's actually beginning to show signs not just in these forums but also out there as we live.

Oh sure... I suspect it will be almost completely gone in Europe, passé in North America and Australia, still chugging along in South America, and probably very popular in Africa and Asia.
If the current régime in China is gone by then, I wouldn't be surprised if half of the world's Christians are in China.

Yes, but to survive it will have to evolve . . . just as it has been evolving for centuries. The early church and the mega-churches we see on television today are vastly different entities. Contemporary interpretation of scripture differs as well (e.g., how many Christians still believe in slavery?). An History has shown that religions that don't adapt to changing societal needs become marginalized and ultimately regarded as myth.

Depends if the Christians are gone. When the rapture happens the spirit of God will depart from this earth and all hell will break loose.

nope. some ppl will come to their senses. Dont they notice that the bible glosses over some stuff, even though we know it's not true, ppl still think that faith will save them. So no.
PS. I'm an atheist.
