I go to an apostolic pentecostal church and today we are doing a back to school bash, we are going to be giving away free food and prizes and theres gonna be a bunch of games and stuff. We will have a baptismal tank and two worship bands and we are hoping for God to do great things, how can I get over my fear of telling people about the truth, I have a strong calling of God on my life to evangelize. All Atheists, dont answer this... grow up.

Praise the Lord! The best way I know to evangilize is stick to witnessing about what you have personally experienced. Whatever is real to you is going to feel like solid ground. Think of it this way........if the world had a water shortage and you knew where to find some wouldn't you tell them?

Do it the traditional Christian way:
Try to show how Christians are "slightly different" people, not by talking about the message initially, but simply show that you are different. Show love and mercy amongst one another. If anyone asks then POW! Leap upon the opportunity. Make contacts with these people. Share emails. Catch up with them after the event.

Do all this in divine, unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love. Never learn towards violence, be humble in spirit, and prey.

How can you get over your fear of telling people the truth? Well, this was difficult for me initially as well. You have to tell yourself, convince yourself, that telling someone that you are a Christian should be as matter-of-fact as possible. I have trouble telling others I am a Christian sometimes, basically because I was a former atheist, and a lot of my friends are atheists as well. So you're not alone in that regard. But remember, the knowing of the greatness of God is better than rejection of any person. The theological reason people might reject you is because you are turned to God; those who do not "Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed." Remember that.

Remember to do research into the more tricky parts of the bible that people tend to ignore or misunderstand. As a Christian apologist I can answer objectionable questions about Christianity. If you have problems with trying to give any sort of answer at all in defense of what you believe, feel free to email me.

Personally, I'd try not to appear insane, for starters.

That aside, putting "atheists, don't answer this and grow up" in your post is pretty much the same as waving a red flag in front of a bull: unless you're trying to get hurt, you're being stupid.

I am not an atheist, but not of your faith either. I only urge you to follow your beliefs, but please keep in mind that what is true for you, may not be true for others,,,,love and tolerance is what you need to put on and practice. Do not get defensive when someone does not see things from your point of view, for there surely will be those who do not. Do not take offense nor be offensive. Just accept that you can do what you can and leave the rest to god...

First of all educate yourself and discover what truth and evidence are. Then make an informed choice in the future direction of your life.
Don't try to blindly convert others without knowing what you are talking about.

"The truth", as in "I believe in this so strongly, that anyone who doesn't agree with me drives me crazy, and I have a need to shove my religious dogma down other peoples' throats to make myself feel better."

You look pretty stupid when you say "All atheists don't answer this...grow up." The person who needs to grow up is you and accept answers from anyone who wants to give you one. You can't just pick and choose, regardless of whether their answers are usless or not.

Do it afraid, only you know it. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman and He will never embarass you. Have fun and no regrets, God is in control of the truth.

The above answers are good examples why it's never a good idea to tell certain people not to answer your question.
It happens every time.

If you're giving away food and prizes and stuff... you could always use the method these missionaries did in India:
