NOT all of you do of course so this is only to the extremist out there who do not seem to respect that we are in a country where we all have a choice and each persons choice should be respected no matter what. Most non Christians do not bash you, except again extremist. why not let it drop both sides? No one is gonna change any ones minds so why bother? Allow everyone to believe what they want and respect it as I do.
A person is my friend no matter what their faith is as long as they are a good person or friend. Anything is is prejudice. I for one am not.
I am not atheist either nor a Christian. How can you be so sure you are right and the Muslims wrong or the Buddhists wrong? No one can know for sure so we should all respect one another's rights to choose our own beliefs.
So go ahead and start with the bashing but it is how I feel about many in this section lately. this silly battle needs to end!

If you read about the life of Jesus Christ, He only offered salvation to others...the only time I can find he ever got really angry is when he threw the money changers out of the temple...I do not believe in the "in your face" type witnessing either I think it to be offensive...you won't find Jesus Himself trying to wring folks heads off to believe...when somebody didn't accept what he was saying, he moved on....
The bible says to us..."let every man be convinced in his own mind"...what the believer is to do is to present Christ both in conviction and lifestyle and draw others to salvation in Him...
What folks tend to forget is that God gives every man free will and Christianity has gotten such a bad reputation because of the way it's presented..some forcefully and without tact...
All I know is that there is no way I could ever do enough to earn my way into heaven or live a good enough life. I'll always fall short...I need a mediator between me and God...for me and countless others it is the God-man Jesus Christ sent into the world as an offering for the sins of men....
As this world comes to it's appointed end...all men will know who the God is above all other Gods...all flesh will know....

No bashing here. My question is how do they force you? and how do you know they are christians? and also if they aren't gonna change someone's mind why ask your question? It seems that forcing does not work so let them rant and rave. If you let them go and don't pay them any attention they will go away and this silly battle will end.

Yes, it is a silly battle. No one is going to change anyone else.
You are adding fuel to the fire rather than trying to make peace, my friend.
You claim not to be prejudiced, but you are.
This question makes it appear that ALL Christians are doing the things you say, even though you have that small qualifier in there.
Be fair. There are just as many atheists who call Christians names and practically tell them that the world would be better off if we were all dead.
No one knows for sure who is right and who is wrong about any of this. If everyone would accept others as they are, it would all be cool.
Do you think it will ever happen?

I don't force anything but I will give you an example that others in my congregation have said.
They feel that if you don't have Jesus it is like you are a drowning person. You must try to save them and if you fail to save a drowning person you keep trying.

All humans were created by God, and when we die if we dint except him into our heart, then there is only two places for you to go and it is yours to pick HEAVEN or HELL.
That's the best for any one is that God loves you and he is not going to make you or no one else to pick the life that you can have, its like if you someone was going to shoot you and you had a choice to live or die then which one would you pick? THEN if you pick the one to die, you would face that same question again, now which one would you pick, as I see it you have two again, don't be a fool and die and go to hell, when you don't have to, its all UP TO YOU.

Someday every person will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. But what sadness to make this confession only when we have finally recognized the inescapable fact that Jesus really is Lord...and we have never accepted him as such.

I am not forcing I just want to share the gospel of salvation of our soul because if not!!!!People will go to hell(with unquenchable fire) and being tormented with fire and brimstone with worms dieth not forever and ever those who did'nt accepted Jesus Christ in their hearts as their saviour and Lord they will go to hell if they die...
But those who accepted Jesus Christ in their hearts they will be with God in heaven with happiness forever.
