What do you want the leader of the catholic church to say?

A lot of the protestants are getting all huffy over this (and he didnt say you cant go to heaven) and being pissy. Well guess what? A lot of you say the same thing. Of course the Pope isnt going to say 'our religion is a lie, lets follow it anyway' do you really expect that?

Im going to take the atheists side on this and laugh, care to join me?

God doesn't send mentally challenged kids to hell. why? obviously, their mind can't comprehend the ideas behind christianity, islam, or whichever religion is right. lol.

what about others who can't find the benefits of accepting god? apparently their minds are not designed in such a manner necessary to find religion appealing.

these two examples are very much the same.

i know. free will. lol

You remember, the days when we played the drinking game, when we had our "get to know your neighbor" nights, the theme days, online weddings, et al... do you miss them?

If god exists, the laws of nature we can observe in the wild are the governing. They give equal opportunity to all creatures to survive. But some of these religions advocate Muslims or Christians or Jews are the most preferred beings for THE GOD. Rest of the creatures and nature is made for their consumption.

How many of you defy such currupt religious practices?

Just wondering where everyone is from that is browsing R&S right now - me, I'm in Michigan USA. Where are you - and what time is it where you are? (5:55 pm here)

PS - expecting the regulation number of smart-aleck answers - thanks in advance to all from Mars, Venus, Pluto and the Galaxy far-far-away where it's probably "beer-thirty o'clock", Miller time, time'sa-wastin', and other silly allusions =:D

though the Catholics have gone out of their way to become more understanding and ecumenical, Protestants continue bad-mouthing them in their churches. They say Catholics worship Mary. That is not true. Worship belongs to God alone. We honor Mary as Jesus did. They say Catholics are not Christians...
Don't they know that the Catholic church is the original Christian Church, that for 1500 years there existed no other Christian community except the church? Did not Jesus promise to protect his church from error? People, even priests, bishops, etc. commit many sins because they are human. However, the church is still the church he founded. That same mass that was prayed in the catacombs in ancient Rome continues today in all the Catholic churches of the world. And without the church carefully keeping the sacred writings which later became the bible, the world would not have the bible at all.

In all honesty, then, is it realistic to trust in world leaders or other men to solve the problems facing mankind? Or is it more realistic to put trust in the solution to which the Bible points, namely, action by God himself through a righteous heavenly goverment?

let's think about this hypothetically for a moment as I don't want to offend

I have seen it said many times that unless a spirit confesses that Jesus Christ is lord .... then the spirit is not from God but from Satan
but what if Jesus isn't lord and spirit are just loving spirit ... nothing more
our loved ones and family are trying their hardest to come through with a nice message for us ... but are being told they are demons ?
eek ... how awful
but what if this is true ?

In John 10:9, Jesus says "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

Notice it says I am the door (not Mary is the door), and by ME (meaning Jesus, NOT Mary), he shall be saved.
