In another question, a god-believer responded:

--------------------------
If we believers are just a bunch of deluded idiots, then tormenting us is kind of like tormenting a retarded child. but there are people here who are searching for the good stuff, we have the hope of an afterlife, and while I will freely admit that some of the atheists are far more clever than some of us believers, there is something pathetic and wrong about non-believers tormenting believers. We believers are trying to figure things out---y'all non-believers need to get your own life. hope it works out for you. what kind of weird twisted psychology impels you to spend so much time in R&S?
What are your issues? What do you get from this?
--------------------------

How do non-believers reply:

After all, they have the same Ten Commandments, and the Old Testament is made of Jewish scriptures.

You realize, If you Blasphemie the holy ghost you can't go to heaven, Ever. Right?

Like It says it in the bible, god and jesus both forgive you for blaspheming them, but the holy ghost dosnt. you blasphemine him and there is no heaven in store for you.

This isn't up for debate, thats in the bible.

Jesus isnt going to just go over the HG's head and forgive you and allow you into heaven, just as god isnt going to go over jesus's head and condem you to hell because you dont sacrifice lambs.

its a matter of respect, they are the holy trinity.

If you purposly blasphemined the holy ghost, knowing hell was in store for you, would you bother continuing praying and going to church, or would you just live life up while you could?

Or would you continue worship so you could pretend your good, while secretly your hoping god see's this and gives u a second shot.

My old teacher once told me that the good believers (who are the extreme minority) from all of the faiths get on well, and that the bad ones (who are also an extreme minority) try to start fights and don't like each other; but that most are indifferent or apathetic (the overwhelming majority), and therefore just as destructive as the bad believers- is this true?

Thanks

If you say, 'but Muhammad was fake' remember that Jews will say 'Jesus was fake'.

Knowing that the text in bible came from stories that were passed down for hundreds of years by word of mouth before being recorded in writing. Those writings sat around for several hundred more years before being read again. There was no way to verfy the credibility of them as there was no record of even who wrote most of them.

Then only certain texts were chosen to be put into a book called the bible. This was done by church leaders. They selected the texts that would be put into this new book. Several ceturies later it was edited again and some of the texts were removed from the bible. The later it was rewritten by english monarky and called the King James version.

Keeping all this in mind, here is my question:

With all these biased selections and deletionsof texts, multible translations over time, and belifes of man (that god had not directly talked to) can we take every thing in the bible as acurate facts?

Halal sacrifice is when you pray a special sentence and then cut the "Common Carotid Artery"(artery that feeds the brain with fresh blood) of say a Rooster and allow its heart to pump all the blood out of its body before dying. They consider that if the rooster die containing its blood ... religiously it cannot be eaten.

Scientifically proven the Rooster experiments the greatest pain ever, suffering until slowly death .....and what is worse the rooster will be thrown inside a container with boiling water to be easier to take out its feather ........sometimes BEING STILL ALIVE ...

Note: The brain needs some minutes without blood to die.

But when you cut its neck in one go..., its heart automatically stops and the Rooster does not feel any pain because there is no connection with its brain anymore

PS: HALAL means "Allowed by GOD".

since the above question is explicitly directed towards Christians, there is no need for other people to chime in with their not-so-witty witticisms, not-so-discreet subtleties, and not-so-bright "revelations" about how all of us fundies are thoughtless drones who melt when we touch logic. I'm addressing believers here.

If not, please watch it first then get back to this question instead of just saying "no." Fast-forward through the first ten minutes if you care about a long introduction.

I'd like to see your opinions on it.

Jesus was the last Isrealite Prophet (Messiah) and those who denied him will be sent a False Messiah as a final punishment....

All those who support him are evil and all those who oppose him are on the side of Good.

This website link shows the biblical proof that the False Messiah (like the real Messiah) were both Jewish.

Heck, it worked out that way for Christianity, so will it in turn work for Scientology?

What does this tell you? I think it means absolutely not, but I would like to hear from others.

"Some people believe that a woman in Islam is regarded as inferior to man since the Quran says (what means):
"Men have one degree above women." [Quran 2: 228]

In fact, to understand this Quranic verse, you should see another one, related to the issue in question. It reveals the wisdom behind this concept.

In the Quran it also says (what means): "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allaah has given the one more than the other and because men support them from their means." [Quran 4:34]

This verse implies that it is a man's duty to support his wife, and not the reverse, but this, in no way, makes him superior to her.

In fact, the rights and responsibilities of a woman are equal to those of a man but they are not necessarily identical.

"My neighbour has blasphemed God. Should I gather all the congregation to certainly stone him?"

I will be laughing about that for about a week at least. Why are some people here so funny? I guess it's a cross section of the world, so you get some crazy funny people.

Why is it that when haters on here state that all muslim women are oppressed and denied education, and we prove we don't feel that way, that they insist it is so? If we don't feel that we are while having college degrees in various fields of study, why do you want to push and force us into believing we are? We don't feel that way, so what's it to you? Why do you have such a problem knowing that we don't feel that way? I don't deny that in some places some do, but most of us do not feel this way.

What do you think of this?

"Sometimes, people see covered Muslim women and they think of this as oppression. This is wrong. A Muslim woman is not oppressed, in fact, she is liberated. This is because she is no longer valued for something material, such as her good looks or the shape of her body. She compels others to judge her for her intelligence, kindness, honesty and personality. Therefore, people judge her for who she actually is."

Religion has been blamed to be the cause of wars, violence. For those who take this position, have you considered the GOOD that people with a religion has done?

eg Mother Theresa, a Christian - if not for her, so many thousands would not have been comforted in their dying/living days. Mahatma Gandhi, a Hindu - if not for his NON VIOLENCE approach, so many millions could have died in the liberation of India from the British.

I will bet my bottom dollar that without religion, more wars, more violence, would have occurred throughout the ages, and more people would have died, more violently.

Thank God for religion.

Do you agree?
