MY OPINION:

At that point in time paradise was located inside the earth in Hades which was divided into two primary parts as seen in Luke 16. The righteous went to the side called paradise (Abraham's bosom) the unrighteous went to Gehenna (hell). Some argue that the word "today" is not the timing of where the thief would be, but when Jesus was saying it to him. While we can it pick over words, the meaning is obvious in the context of the statement. He would be with Jesus, where did Jesus go that day? Paradise.

Most people say that The theif is in heaven but that cannot be true because "Today" Jesus didn't go to paradise but he went to hell to get the keys so the Thief is in Hell as well, waiting until the day of resurrection.

Epesians 4: 8-10 "Therefore he says "when he ascended on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to men: Now this he ascended what does it mean but that he first descended into the lower parts of the earth.

Do you agree or disagree?

We all know that catholics confess their sins to their preacher, but who does the preacher confess their sins to. And who does the pope confess their sins to? I'm not trying to show any disrespect here, I'm just very curious?

i saw something like this awhile ago

let there be light" = big bang.

separation of light and dark = formation of stars

Firmament = formation of the planet(s)

Separation of the waters = formation of atmosphere,

"waters under the heavens gathered into one place" to expose dry land. ...

plants, water creatures, land creatures, people, = basic progression of evolution.

doesnt it make sense? what great discoveries open thinking can lead to....

Of course he didn't follow the bible, but I found this.......In an attempt to define why and in what way he was "religious, " Einstein said, "Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the discernible concatenations, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion. To that extent I am, in point of fact, religious

Like, when you see that the leaders of our country believe in an imaginary man in the sky and heaven and hell and demons and the like, are you amazed that people that are that smart and educated believe in things like that? I just can't understand it sometimes.

So you say that all children are born believing in your God, and then Athists are brainwashed into not believing in God? How does that work? And what about kids on the other side of the world in non-Christian countries? Don't you have to be taught about something first? If you've never heard of a concept, how can you believe in it at all? You wouldn't even know the concept existed!

Can someone please explain this to me, how all babies believe in something they've never learned, and then are brainwashed? Because I'm pretty confused at this point.

I am a faithful Christian as well, but there is something on my mind that bothers me. What happens to the people who have never heard about God, do they really go to hell. I know the gospel has reached almost every part of the earth, but there are still some people who haven't heard about it. Isn't it unfair for those who haven't even had the chance to get saved?

The RCC claims an unbroken connection to the Apostle Peter. When a Pope, who is considered the voice of Christ on earth, is proclaimed by a later Pope to have been "a False Pope" how are the proclaimations made by the false Pope dealt with by the Vatican? The current Pope has spoken in the past about false Popes and who is to say the next Pope will not claim that Pope Benedict was a false Pope? How do you logically reconcile this with the claim of "unbroken succession?"

Revelation 21
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

"And there was no more sea."
For an old sailor like me, this verse, if it were true, would be one of the saddest verses in the bible.

ROFLOL!

Then you christians will say, "It's metaphorical, God has a way!" Well explain too how it is metaphorical, don't just say, "It's metaphorical" everytime you get stuck!

They keep changing things, and it seems like the mormon people are gradually being allowed (not officially) to do more things and be more free. Seems like they're trying to change to be more normal.

...head of the people, Her body, of whom She is Mother. Now as the people submit to the Mother, so also husbands should submit to their wives in everything." Ephesians 5:22-24, role reversal translation.

Christians, I presume you are familiar with the original text. If you think and believe that men and women are equal but you still think the original verses are OK, how do you feel about them with the roles reversed?

Can you please (for the sake of argument) catagorize yourself

A.) You are absolutely sure there is no type of god, or creator, and there never was.

B) You simply feel that such a being is unlikely, there is not enough evidence to believe it, and it would be a waste of your time to try to have "faith" in something so illogical and unnecessary to explain things. You feel science explains enough to leave your head spinning in awe, and you'd rather spend your time learning more fact than wondering "what if Theists are right".

I ask because many people seem to think you guys make a religion out of the disbelief in God, when most Atheists I've met fall into catagory B.

If you fit into neither, please explain.

You kidding me,
Halo 3 is the most famous game on the xBox right now.

Halo 3, another speculated scientology video game. It sounds similar to scientolgy, humans, animals, cells, living things, came from Star Dust, or from out of space. It could be from the sun's remains.

Halo 3, has all the details listed above. It's crazy. but the game is so good. Humans in the game came from outer space known as the fore runners. the fore runners happened to built the ARK in East Africa. Only a speculation.

What are the purpose of it? Salvation? Do they believe in GOD?

I have had this slight feeling these past few weeks that I should do children's ministry as a career. So maybe be a stay at home mommy and just work childrens ministry part time, or find work doing childrens ministry full time. i gotta pray. how do i even get started to be a leader in childrens ministry (and i dont just mean teach sunday school)? So as of now I think God may want me to do ministry. maybe thats why my shoulder appears to be getting worse, maybe its a sign from God, that He does not want me to be an emt.
