"May there be peace and harmony in your homes. Husbands, love and treasure your wives. They are your most precious possessions. Wives, encourage and pray for your husbands. They need all the help they can get. Parents, treat your children with great kindness. They are the coming generation who will bring honor to your name." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2007 General Conference, Closing Remarks

Yes, I agree with it. My wife is mine and I am her husband. We possess each other, not in the demonic way :-)

You got that wrong. The authorities have never said that our wives were our possessions. They are our companions and partners. We are responsible to provide for them and take care of them. We are their husbands which implies nurturing. If any man thinks he can treat his wife as a possession and abuse her as a piece of chattel, then that man is in sore need of repentance.

I think they would, but then I think a lot of the older generation still think this way too. It is hard for them to let go of habit.

Mincing words -- we possess each other.

We can take ourselves, our thoughts, our feelings, and our families with us to heaven and nothing else.

The iPhone my friend just bought will be left behind.

I am his and he is mine, for all eternity and I wouldn't have it any other way. We are eachother's most prized possesion, yes.
Funny how a person can take something so meaningful and make it ugly. way to go, you should be proud.
