Why does it matter to you what we believe. I do believe everything in the bible but other people believe other things and we should respect that. Whether or not you believe in the bible we are all human beings and all live on this planet. If we think of ourselves as better than someone else because we believe in one persons bible then we are mistaken and wrong about what faith really is. Religion is a choice and we should respect that choice not condem someone for their own beliefs.. I quit attending the catholic church because of these so called christians that judge others but that doesn't mean I have abandon my belief in my religion just my belief on those that judge. I treat jewish, muslims, islam, hindu, buddist, other christian faith people the same and with respect.because I am not the judge I am just a disciple trying to follow what I believe and be an overall better human being. If more of us were like this we would not have columbines, waco, 911 in our life we would have peace.

I do. It says God inspired all the writers of the books of the bible, so everything that was written was God approved.
There are some things that I don't believe we need to practice anymore, because the times have changed. Like having women preachers for example or animal sacrifice. Also a lot of the rules were meant for the Jew's. I am not a Jew, I would be considered a Gentile, a Christian.
Hope this helps.

They're called Fundamentalists.
The Fundamentalists have built a shrine to their ignorance. It's the New Creation Museum in Kentucky. In this museum, the Fundamentalists portray people living with the dinosaurs. They even portray dinosaurs on Noah's ark. It's a laughing stock, even to other Christians.
It's my understanding that the only part of the bible that's supposed to be read literally, is the 4 Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). These gospels are supposed to be exactly that: GOSPEL. The gospel truth. Incontrovertible. The rest of the bible is supposed to be read as a spiritual guide.
Clearly, the first and last books of the bible (Genesis and Revelations) are largely symbolic.
Common sense isn't something you suspend when reading the bible. The Fundamentalists need to get a life.

Me. Why would believe in only some of it? It's either all or nothing. It's either toilet paper or the inspired words of God to his creation.
