I am not bragging or anything, but if you gave me 6000 years I'd come up with something a lot better than this..
Or do the deluded crowd just use that 'one day' thing to cover up the fact that they have been waiting for Jesus to show up for 2000 years?

I've heard that some people are against using contraception, and I want to know the reasoning behind this. For some, they believe that using the pill still kills the fetus right when it's conceived. But that still wouldn't rule out condoms--with a condom contraception never begins. I can't use birth control except condoms--the females in my family get very sick from the pill, shots and such. As soon as he can, my fiance is getting a vasectomy to insure that we don't have kids.

If no one had birth control, there would be an even bigger problem of overpopulation. Would all the people against contraception be willing to adopt all of the extra kids that would suddenly be out there if we got rid of all contraception?

I'm adopting, I sure don't want to contribute to an overpopulated Earth. So why say no contraception? What is so bad about choosing to not have kids? Or for that matter, choosing to have kids when you're ready instead of being scared, young, and without enough money?

A fellow, whose question is still open to answers, has posted something that I find disturbing which is calling on Muslims to pray to God to curse Christians.

Whether you're an Atheist who doesn't believe in God, so therefore no curse, (I know you'll say that as an answer) or a Christian, I'd like your honest opinion.

The point I'm trying to make or get confirmed is whether this post sounds like hatred from one religious belief towards another? What are your thoughts?

Tonight from 10pm, I will be at my Church and taking part in an all night prayer vigil for people from our Church, people from our area, people in the UK, people of the world. It will carry on until 10am Sunday, when we go directly into the Sunday service and have a session of healing prayer.
We will obviously have many things to pray for but if you are seriously needing prayer, please e-mail me your 'needs' and I will pray for them tonight.
God does provide for our needs (not our wants necessarily but our needs) so please keep it sensible.
I also realise that there are many sceptics on Yahoo answers who will criticise or ridicule the whole thing but to you I say...God Bless you with wisdom to see His truth, not your own.
Last time we did the vigil, God saw fit to heal a personal friend of mine in the Sunday service following the vigil so Gods Love, Compassion, mercy...and above all Grace was really evident.

Dr Zakir Naik in one of his lectures said that Madrasas (Islamic religious schools) do not promote terrorism. I am fond of his lectures but the religious school at Lal Masjid in Pakistan is the greatest proof that religious schools do promote terrorism. There were lot of arms and ammo found in Lal Masjid. They also kidnapped some Chinese women. Islam is a religion of peace but the fundamentalist in United Kingdom are giving wrong message to the Muslim youth in Britian. I would like to know your views about this?

all the Christian end time sites that I look at all have some version of the seven year tribulation. I would like to find a Christian site that doesn't include a 7 year tribulation in the end times so i can make up my own mind as to whether it will happen or not

why not get tighten your bolts first using the modern tech like internet ?
Give the truth to kids about evolution insted of Adem and Eva ?

Because I was thinking about this hard...maybe too hard. I thought, well, people who use logic are so sure that their thinking is logical. How do they know for sure and certain? They dont. What is The Commandment "You Shall Not Commit Adultery?"
Im a catholic and going to confession in a week for eg can I say the commendmants i broke instead of actually saying teh thing and be forgiven?
Like for eg If i Have Lust and I masturbated Can i say I commited Adultery to the priest instead of saying them both in detail and still be forgiven?

I would like to ask the christians that believe Harry Potter to be evil why they don't feel the same about Lord of the Rings or Disneyland? I know for a fact that many christians take their children to Disneyland. Cinderella's fairy Godmother did magic, Mickey did magic, Sleeping Beauty had a very evil witch in it and many more examples. Yet christians see nothing wrong with this. Lord of the Rings was praised by many christians. The Lion, the Witch,and the Wardrobe had an evil magic witch in it, yet churches actually endorsed that movie. What is the difference with Harry Potter? It's the same principle that christians embrace in the other movies, good magic fighting bad. The witch on the Little Mermaid was as wicked as any charachter associated with HP. Please explain the way your church can justify this because it is very confusing to me. I go to an Assembly of God church and I know for a fact that the pastor's grandchildren have Disney movies because I have seen them.
