The Sabbath Day (Friday dusk to Saturday dusk) is in the Ten Commandments. God did say to "Honor it and keep it Holy". Jesus could not have done away with it because it is the fourth commandment. What does it mean to you?

So, you lived your entire life and you never believed that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Then you died and found out it was true all along. Which would be worse, to believe and find out it wasn't true or not believe and find out that it was true.

No one can ever tell me that people are basically bad or evil. We are born with the capacity to sin (err/go astray), but in reality, its society and the material world that leads us to sin more than our own natures.

Although I love God as my Father and Jesus Christ as my Saviour, I also know that good can come without knowing God or Jesus Christ. No one will ever be able to convince me that just because someone is an athiest, they are not a good, moral, loving or upstanding person, everything in reality that Christianity calls us to be, minus Jesus Christ and God. My brother is not religious at all, in fact he finds religion and God boring at this time in his life. However, he risked his own life pulling a cabbie to safety who was unconscious and car was in danger of exploding after a crash. Most individuals instinctively will risk their life for another human being. "The greatest love is to lay down one's life for another" -- Jesus never appended Christianity to that quote.

Basically, which one has been corrupted less by man over time. And I'm talking about normal Christianity and normal Islam, not radical.

Do any pray to Father God through Jesus Christ, in spirit & truth?

Jesus shed His blood for our sins. It is written that we can come boldly before the Throne of Grace in time of need. Because His blood cleanses us from all sin. We are made the righteousness of Christ.

If the Bible states that there is only one mediator between God and man and that man is Jesus, why are priests necessary? Isn't it true that there is only one priest...Jesus Christ? Why does the catholic church require that its members confess to a priest, rather than talking to God directly? Don't misunderstand me, I think it is important for us to outwardly confess our sins (such as a friend, family member, accountablity partner, etc.) so that we can be held accountable. But if we only confess to God, do Catholics believe that we are forgiven for our sins? I just don't see how catholics can defend the church's practices (priests, the pope, statues of Mary, etc.) and say that it is biblical. Please help me to understand.

Everyone sins and falls short of the glory of God and that includes christians, I know some very speical christians that have fell into sexual sin and have gotten pregnant some got married some did not and some did not marry until later on in life. My friend said to me christians are the only ones who shoot thier own wounded.

I have witnessed christians judging other christians and being harsh and refusing to me friends with the ones that have sinned
and riding them off or dismissing them from thier lives.

My question is why do christians expect other christians to be perfect and why do some people think that because they sexually sinned that they are bad people?

Everyone has bends to certain sins and we screw up and make mistakes .

I have actually heard someone say that if a person sexually sins the were not really christians to begin with.

Why do people think that because someone is a christian that they dont struggle or get tempted with sexual sin?
