Lilly. Spellwork is usually the means of LAST resort. I try to use everymeans at my disposal to accomplish something BEFORE iI resort to Spellcraft. In 39 years of practicing Witchcraft I have only used spell work 3 times. It's just not one of those things that I feel that I need to pull out everytime that I want something to happen. If I can solve the problem on my own then WHY use MY hard earned power trivialy?

Now as for MY daily life, I try to practice My Religion on a daily basis. I acknowledge Goddess's and God's influence in everything I do and see. I do my best to NOT harm anyone OR anything. I try and set things right if they're not the way that nature intended them to be. I take care of the living and inanimate things around me and undo as much damage as I can, even if that damage was NOT caused by me. I try to engage others with the SAME respect that I would hope that they would afford me, and I educate others who are willing to listen to what my Religion is all about. I Also provide support, advice and help on ALL levels to anyone who needs and is willing to accept my help. As a Green Witch, I make healing herbs and remedies available to those who need and will accept and actually use them. I volunteer for local charities (yes, even Chrisitan charities), the local food bank, I provide ministerial counselling at the local hospital, several nursing homes and the local jail. I also serve on our town board as an elected official and do my very best to deliver the services that our community needs in as efficient a manner as possible.

In other words, I just try to do the BEST that I can at living life, and help as much as I am able to do. Hope this gives you a few ideas as to how Wiccans can contribute to their communities and use those contributions as a means of worship of Goddess and God.

Brightrest Blessings,
Raji the Green Witch

As a Witch one usually tries to cast spells as little as possible. Never use a lot when a little will do. I ALWAYS try for a mundane solution to a situation first.

Everything relates to my daily life as a Wiccan, the world is interconnected, nothing going on in your life can not relate if you are really a Wiccan.

To practice Wicca means trying to move towards being more and more in tune with nature and life in all it's aspects. To practice Wicca means that you are a priest or a priestess and should be ready to give your services as needed or requested within the scope of your oaths.

I don't "cast spells" as you have put it very often at all. Too Bewitched for me. Wicca is a huge part of my daily life, and I commune with the Goddess on a regular basis.

I don't cast spells often unless the situation calls for it - I usually do healing spells or protection spells.

Pretty much everything in my daily life relates to my spirituality... from honoring the God and Goddess when I wake up, to relocating the gecko I found in my bathroom this morning and releasing him into the garage, to deadheading my flowers to encourage them to bloom again, to enjoying the warmth of the sun and the serenity of the moon, to thanking the God and Goddess for the bounties of the earth and the food that I eat.
