Why are you relying on the 8 ball for when God constantly makes his presence known?

No , not at all. God works in mysterious ways. He talked to Moses from a flaming bush why not you through a magic 8 ball.

"You shall not put the Lord your God to the test." If you want God to speak to you, all you have to do is pray.
If you want to play games, use the "magic" 8 ball.

More likely to give you a message from the Creator than any organized religion. A thousand times more likely than such a message arriving via a Yahoo Answers participant.

The first commandment says, "I am the Lord, thy God, thou shall not have strange gods before me." Signs come naturally, not through mediums.

I don't know, it sound's like faith to me i.e. ever heard of superstitions of prayer? Just like prayer, the Magic 8 ball relies on coincidence or luck.
