A lot ofn time when I see someone answer a question, if they so much as put in the word "jesus" they will get a ton of bad ratings for their answer. I have seen people with very logical answers and in the end say something about jesus and get about 7 bad ratings. I understand some people are athiest but it doesnt make scense because sometimes the question is mostly good. One person asked "what is the greatest thing you ever did" and some people said "let jesus into my life", THATS IT! nothing else, and they got about 5-6 bad ratings. Why?

According to your faith... Or no faith.. What is your message of love and peace for others? Despite of all the differences?

Here are a few out of the many in the Quran:

“God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers.” (Quran 60:8)

17:53, 54
And tell my servants that they should speak in a most kindly manner (unto those who do not share their beliefs). Verily, Satan is always ready to stir up discord between men; for verily; Satan is mans foe .... Hence, We have not sent you (Unto men O Prophet) with power to determine their Faith.

“The most perfect believers are the best in conduct. And the best of you are those who are the best to their wives.”

I respect everyones opinions. But please stick to the question, and thanks for sharing.

Peace&Love to all.

Lighthouses are more helpful than churches."

-Ben Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack, 1758

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance, of which their political as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose."

I'm a Protestant, and am confused by my good Catholic friends, who seem to differ in their beliefs regarding the requirement(s) for salvation. My belief is that the blood of Christ - and acknowledgement of Christ as Savior, is sufficient for salvation, but as I (at least thought I) understood it, the Catholic church preaches that several of the sacrements are prerequisites for salvation. If so, which ones?

There's times when we seek help, we hope that help would come, as we see many pass by. But there are those who are always willing to help. Perhaps these are the tender hearted.

I know we at times have trouble trusting due to all the bad things that happen around the world. But there are those who crave to help, those who want to do God's will as be neighborly and those who feel compassion.
Sometimes the way you feel depends on the situation....
We all can do and feel this way to help one another here as well.

Love ~!~ Peace be with you all..... good night!

What to say to someone to comfort them when they are down about life and their job?
What are some comforting things to say to your boyfriend when he is going through hardships. From time to time he gets really down about not finding a job that he at least halfway enjoys. I mean the reality is that there is no perfect job out there, but he has two degrees and yet works for a restaurant as a waiter. Hes extremely unhappy with his current job. He is highly intelligent, extremely hard working, very giving, always does for others. I feel his pain. I mean I get plenty of job offers and have a simple high school diploma. I don't know . He's a very spiritual person. Strongly belives in God, very honest. Almost want to say honest to a fault. He would like a job in business or accounting somewhere. The problem is that he doesnt have experience. Hes been working this restaurant job for almost 5 years. He put himself through college through this job. What to say to him to comfort him? Thanks.

Can they feel her presence? Is her presence on an image?

As a Christian, I pray to Father God in the Name of Jesus my Lord. I also pray to Jesus Christ. And I have never sensed Mary. I praise God in Spirit during praise & worship. Though I know Mary's soul/spirit is in heaven with the Lord. And does do intercession like all the Saints in heaven do. As well as Saints on earth.
