I do.

So no one says I tricked them. This would include abortion.

Yes. I am a pagan and yes I believe in it. Not Government, and definitely not Christians. I hope it is not limited to paganism.

I don't believe it should be a tenet, no. I believe it should be an inalienable right. Apparently at present it is not, since the government thinks they need to make "laws" about how people can control their bodies... men and women both.

Terry, I believe that should be one of those Human rights afforded to ALL people, regardless of which Religion that they follow.

NOW, Pagans do NOT have "Tenets". There is NO specific set of "rules" or "laws" that ALL Pagans go by nor adhere to. Pagans do NOT have a "bible" or specific "Holy Book" that ALL follow. It is obvious to me as it is to ALL the other pagans in here, that you have NO idea what "Being" a Pagan is all about. I would suggest that your visit http://www.religioustolerance.org and become educated about our ways before you start telling us that we need to adopt rules and laws, of ANY type.

Hmm.
I sometimes wonder, you know, is it really fair, for a woman, to allow herself to be impregnated, and then to say "my body, my choice?"
Wouldn't the modern educated woman who believes "my body, my choice" know not to get impregnated in the first place?
Secondly, and believe you me, I am not here to start a fight, Does not the mentality "my body, my choice apply to the fetus?
Why doesn't the fetus have a choice?
I think, if a woman were to truly be responsible, and to legitimately claim "my body, my choice" she would have to be responsible enough to take the known and necessary steps to avoid the situation to where this whole argument begins.
You see, abortion, is not the solution nor the problem. Irresponsible sexual conduct is the base core of the problem. Oh, BTW? don't get all "high and mighty on me and say "what about rape?"
How many rapes result in unwanted pregnancies compared to the reckless sexual conduct of people acting like they "didn't know" you could get pregnant the "first time"?
c'mon people grow up.

I believe that everyone makes their own choice. God is a God of choice. But the women who get an abortion should know they are killing human life.
Yes I do pitty those who are raped. Awful crime.
Another thing I really hate though is when a man comments on this matter he doesnt realize that he suffers no consiquence for his actions. ((Unless he gets like AIDS or something)) but the woman has the chance of getting pregnant. It is kinda annoying all the troubles us ladies go through with out becomming pregnant.
Men do like to take advantage...sometimes it is people's bosses who force them, to gain a higher raise or promotion.
THAT really isn't fair.

ya know...there is more to the tenet than just that statement and it has underlying tones to it...i agree women should have control of their bodies and have the choice in that to relinquish that control should they choose...i don't think it is my right to make that decision for anyone...some prefer to be controlled...and that should be their choice...

I agree in spirit...

but I'm hesistant to say "all" of any group should "believe" anything.

It's a "yeah, that'd be great" kind of "Should," not a "do as I say" kind of "should."
