Judgment has two versions. One is vain and the other is used in a decision that effects the world in some way. So for you to judge even a child molester you read about in the paper is a vain act. On the other hand, the Judge or jury may have this duty. It is a human duty and not god-like. The safety of society and any benefit to order is what is considered. Not the person's soul. When you are ready to fill the office of Jesus Christ you may judge another soul as God will.

I'm a Christian and I don't reject correction as judging. I get corrected fairly often at work, and if I thought it was judgement I'd have a roll of unpleasantries to express.

I didn't know that they did. That's not what the Bible teaches.

Hebrews 12:4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives." 7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

What difference does it make. We are told that we will judge angels so certainly we can judge the small things of this world.

Correction from those that are Christians or those that are non-beleivers?

I will take correction anyday from a Christian. However, from a non-believer, thats like telling someone how to swim when they themselves are drowning.

They are just programed to judge. That is all they understand.
