"History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims
sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated." --De Lacy O'Leary, ISLAM AT THE CROSSROADS, London,
1923, p. 8.

“The Christian World came to wage crusades against Muslims but eventually knelt before them to gain knowledge. They were spellbound to see that Muslims were owners of a culture that was far superior to their own. The Dark Ages of Europe were illuminated by nothing but the beacon of Muslim Civilization.” (F.J.C Hearushaw, The Science of History.)

“The Renaissance of Europe did not take place in the 15th century. Rather it began when Europe learned from the culture of the Arabs. The cradle of European awakening is not Italy. It is the Muslim Spain.” (Robert Briffault, The Making Of Mankind)

“The teachings of Islam can fail under no circumstances. With all our systems of culture and civilization, we can not go beyond Islam and, as a matter of fact, no human mind can go beyond the Q’uran. (Johann Goethe, cited in Sir Henry Elliot’s Letters of Johann Goethe, 1865.)

“The greatest crimes, the greatest “sin” of Mohammed in the eyes of Christian West is that he did not allow himself to be slaughtered, to be “crucified” by his enemies. He only defended himself, his family and his followers; and finally vanquished his enemies. Mohammed’s success is the Christians’ gall of disappointment… He did not believe in any vicarious sacrifices for the sins of others.” (Edward Gibbon, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.)

“The lies which we [Christians] have heaped round this man (Mohammed), are disgraceful to ourselves only.” (Thomas Carlyle, Heroes and Hero Worship)

“Muhammed was the most successful of all religious personalities.” (Encyclopedia Britannica, 4th & 11th editions)

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level." --Michael H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST
INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York: Hart Publishing Company, Inc.,
1978, p. 33.

"In the eyes of history, religious toleration is the highest evidence of culture in a people....It was not until the Western nations broke away from their religious law that they became more tolerant, and it was only when the Muslims fell away from their religious law that they declined in tolerance and other evidences of the highest culture. Before the coming of Islam it (tolerance) had never been preached as an essential part of religion... –Marmaduke Pickthall

Mohammed never assigned himself a status more than a common man and a messenger of God. People had faith in him when he was surrounded by poverty and adversity and trusted him while he was the ruler of a great Empire. A man of spotless character who always had a confidence in himself and in God’s help. No aspect of his life remained hidden nor was his death a mysterious event. (M.H. Hyndman, The Awakening of Asia)

“In my view, Islam is the only religion in the world that will remain eternally practicable in changing times. (George Bernard Shaw, The Genuine Islam, 1936)

“Mohammed brought an end to idol worship. He preached monotheism and infinite Mercy of God, human brotherhood, care of orphan, emancipation of slaves, forbidding of wine --- No religion achieved as much success as Islam did (Sir William Muir, Life of Mohammed)

“Islam does not set impossible goals. There are no mythological intricacies in this message. No hidden meanings or secrets and absolutely no priesthood.” (Hitti, History of the Arabs)

“I believe that if today an autocrat of Mohammed’s caliber assumes world leadership, he could solve all problems of humanity splendidly. The world will become an abode of peace and happiness. I predict that tomorrow’s Europe will embrace Islam (George Bernard Shaw )

“The sayings of Muhammed are a treasure of wisdom not only for Muslims but for all of mankind.” (Gandhi, Preface to The Sayings of Muhammed by Sohrawardi)

"If a man like Muhammed were to assume the dictatorship of the modern
world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much
needed peace and happiness." George Bernarzd Shaw

"The essential and definite element of my conversion to Islam was the Qur'an. I began to study it before my conversion with the critical spirit of a Western intellectual .... There are certain verses of this book, the Qur'an, revealed more than thirteen centuries ago, which teach exactly the same notions as the most modern scientific researches do. This definitely converted me." Ali Selman Benoist, France, Doctor of Medicine.

"I have read the Sacred Scriptures of every religion; nowhere have I
found what I encountered in Islam: perfection. The Holy Qur'an, compared to any other scripture I have read, is like the Sun compared to that of a match. I firmly believe that anybody who reads the Word of Allah with a mind that is not completely closed to Truth, will become a Muslim."---- (Saifuddin) Dirk Walter Mosig, U. S.A.

S.P. Scott in 'The History of the Moorish Empire in Europe.'
"Yet there were knowledge and learning everywhere except in Catholic Europe. At a time when even kings could not read or write, a Moorish king had a private library of six hundred thousand books. At a time when ninety-nine percent of the Christian people were wholly illiterate, the Islamic Moorish city of Cordova had eight hundred public schools, and there was not a village within the limits of the empire where the blessings of education could not be enjoyed by the children of the most indigent peasant, ...and it was difficult to encounter even a Moorish peasant who could not read and write."

I know the truth about islam, which is why I will never be a Muslim. I could never be antichrist and anti-Israel as islam teaches. I know that God is just and loving and not the deceiver that allah proudly proclaims to be. I know God doesn't want forced worship and useless repetition in prayer the way allah does. I know God doesn't want men to dominate and abuse women the way allah does. I know God never said a woman should only show her eyes. I know God said Israel is eternal and allah plans on destroying it. I know islam does not tell the truth about Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. I know islamic prophecy is world domination with allah destroying all non-muslim countries. I know islamic prophecy is to kill all Jews and have a war with Christians. I know islam well enough to know it is not the truth. Jesus is The Truth.

God Bless.

I would like to know more than I do. I was researching polygamy when I came across some interesting blogs about first wives. It made sense (when done properly).

Islaam appears very strict but for good reason I would say. I only worry that there is little mercy.
Allah is very important. They have special words they use. They fast differently to the way I do. It is intriguing.

Its hard that because men are not perfect you get a skewed look at a particular faith. Its better to look at the doctrine than the people (who are not perfect)

I would like to read the Qu'ran as it sounds very interesting. To me it is potentially scripture. I don't think the Bible can be the only Word of God. It makes sense that God would give His Word to all people .(especially before the advent of the technology that we may utilise in these days).

Islam teaches in Qur'an, hadith, and Sunnah that Muslims should be peaceful at times and behave like warriors at other times.

The perfect model of Islam was peaceful for much of his life AND one of the most fierce warriors known to history at another time in his life.

Peaceful Muslims can point to the Qur'an and so can the few violent Muslims.

whats with that persecution complicated? i quickly step in now and back because of the fact there are no longer any voices in help of islam in that distinctive part of the internet, that pronounced, islam has many violent adherants and to absolve accountability of the 1000's of folk inspired via islam to soak up violence is very vulnerable. if the fact suffered, cancerous babies could understand each and everything. 911 isnt the sole attack thats been perpetuated these days.

"If you suspect defection in a woman, take her to the sleeping place and beat her." 'Nuff said?

Oh yes, lest I forget - Islam twists Biblical scripture. It says Hagar the mother of Ishmael was Abraham's wife, when she was really Abraham's wife's Egyptian servant. Where the Bible tells about Abraham taking his son Isaac up to the mountain to sacrifice, Islam says it was Ishmael. Where the Bible calls Isaac the chosen son foretold, Islam claims God said that was Ishmael.

Islam is a pathetic attempt to make a bunch of disoriented desert tribes feel special, because they never got over the fact that their "chosen one" was thrown out of Abraham's camp. If it was delivered by an angel, it was a fallen angel.

If Abraham is your father, then follow the GOD of Abraham. Don't make up a new god and put words in his mouth.

I know the most important thing that there is to know about it. They deny that Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sins and rose three days later. They claim Jesus was a prophet and not the eternal Son of God. If they don't repent and turn to Christ for salvation they will stand before God on judgment day clothed in the soiled rags of their own self righteous works and be condemned because they broke God's laws and sought to atone for it like Cain when he brought an offering of his own making instead of supplying the offering that God demanded.

Jesus gave a parable about what would happen to people who did that.

Matthew 22:2-14 "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, 3 and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.

4 Again he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.' 5 But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, 6 while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.

7 The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. 9 Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.' 10 And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 "But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. 12 And he said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 14 For many are called, but few are chosen."

Revelation 3:5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

allah "tricked" millions of people into believing that that guy on the cross was "Jesus".

a muslim has the right to "strike off an ENEMY's head, and finger tips", and to fight him until he submits to Islam.

islam allows polygamy for men.

a lot of muslim nations make it an islamic law to put to death any one who they THINK have insulted muhammed or allah.

islam gives any muslims the right to give FATWAS on people they deemed as enemies.

even a muslim can taste hell fire from allah.

quran calls Jesus the Messiah, the Sign to men, and tells people to obey Jesus.

as much as allah tells muslims to love, hatred and violence is seen more in the quran.

in one verse, Quran calls christians pigs, and calls for muslims not to befriend Jews and christians because they are allies.

muslims bow down to Kaaba, block used for idolatary worship predating islam in arabia.

Islam is a religion that teaches the follower to believe in one God (Allah), and follow Muhammad as the prophet, and has Quran as the Holybook

I know it is a false cult which is responsible for most of the violence in the world today.

It was founded by a pedophile who created a false religion to satisfy the lusts of his flesh.

It is a fulfillment of what the apostle Paul warned us to avoid in Galatians chapter one.
