Started getting them - bad ones - at the age of 12. Went on for years and years, too. About the last 10 years or so haven't been so bad. (41 now.)

I have a headache too. I've been staring at my computer and tv screens all day, plus reading a lot online, not drinking enough water, having bad posture, and I took a nap in the middle of the day today which can cause a headache. Also my mom gets constant headaches so it could be genetic. Good luck. Also you may want to see a chiropractor if it becomes chronic. Good luck!

I learnt what it feels like when you experience what is described as a headache when I first had one.
I learned that it was called a headache (and why it is different to other head pains) at some point in my education.

The answer to that question is lost in the mists of time, I'm afraid. However, I'm forcibly reminded of what a headache is every time I log into this forum and people are on a Catholic-bashing rampage.

Like today, for example.

Nope, don't know anything about that. {wink} ;^)

Oh, ok, now I recall. Sorry, I was confused there for a moment. Yes yes, I load myself up with powerful NSAIDs to dull the shooting pain surrounding my eyeballs.

Other than that, I do remember someone had a really bad headache... hmmm....

I learned about it by reading and hearing stories about them, and I knew what a headache was after I felt it. :) Yay a question I can answer. lol
