To know WHEN you will die or HOW you will die?

Neither to be honest, when death comes it will be revealed then. But i personally wouldn't like to know either, i believe in keeping fate veiled :).
If i HAD to choose however, i would say how. At least then you don't know when and won't spend the rest of your days worrying.

shrugs a few years ago I had a vision while meditateing. i will die after my 50th birthday but befor my 51st. i have gotten used to the idea that i wont live to see my grandchildren. I hope t hat i die quickly. i think know that I would die painfuly and slowly would be a hell of a lot worse then knowing when I will die

You do not need to know about your deing. It will just come without knowing it.You don't even know that after this matter in your asking a question, you will die.
