Jehovah's Witnesses can vote (see The Watchtower of November 1, 1999, pages 28,29). Almost uniformly, however, they choose not to.

They believe that God's Messianic Kingdom is a real government which will soon replace all human governments. Jehovah's Witnesses consider themselves to be ambassadors or envoys of God's government, and so believe that they must demonstrate political and nationalist neutrality.

(John 18:36) Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world

(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

When Jehovah's Witnesses do choose to vote, they typically write in the name "Jehovah" or "Jesus". Sadly, most humans are unwilling to swear allegiance to either of those names; that saddens but does not surprise Jehovah's Witnesses.

(John 15:18-19) If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

The Bible says that a true Christian should not seek friendship with the world as James 4:1-5 states. To take part in anything like voting is putting your trust in world leaders.
There is no doubt that that Satan is the ruler of this world, so how can a true Christian support Satan and Jehovah at the same time? As the scripture states in verse 5, Friendship with the world makes you an enemy of Jehovah God.

I'm not sure where all you people are getting your information from but it's all wrong.

No man or Government is going to solve all of mankinds problems. They have been trying now for thousands of years and look where we are. Mankind now has little kids blowing themselves up for there cause. Keep listing to the news and you will see that things are going to to get even worse than that. Dan 2:44 will soon be upon us and for those who want to live under Gods Kingdom will survive the great tribulation about to take over the earth and for those who don't want to live under God's new government they will be distroyed because they will be given a chance just like every one else but there will always be those ones who do not want God's kingdom to take over because they like things the way they are, so they will rebel against God's new order of things and so be distroyed never having a second chance to live on this earth in paradise conditions. And yes we expect people to laugh, joke, snare, curse God, think we stupid, and think that this world is just going to keep on going the way we see it. But really ? how long can mankind continue to kill, rap, war, steal, blow themselves up and others, mame, polute, spread violence, crooked governments, every nation trying to be the word power,
thinking of more new ways to kill mankind on a massive scale, religions misleading people, taking there money, even killing in the name of thier god. and the list is endless.

It is common practice for JWs to not vote, but it is permitted. Possibly many voted in your election. Are you sure that none of them did?

What election? When? They believe they are God's only chosen people & if you aren't one of them you're doomed to burn in hell (i'm doomed then).

This leads me to think they don't recognise politics.
