The Bible is fiction, written by men who didn't know about dinosaurs or planets, and didn't live in a time when incest was considered to be a problem.

Ask your preacher why he didn't tell you that God repeatedly COMMANDED his followers to torture and kill people.

1. In the context of the Bible dinosaurs do not matter so they do not get a mention, however the Bible does mention great beasts so that might be a clue as to what they are.

2. If God can create two people who says he can not create more, or that he already did but only put Adam and Eve in the Garden?

3. Noah had a pretty good size family so reproduction would have worked.

4. There is a beginning and an end because of time but God is outside of time and in fact created it so he is not bound by it and so he always was because he was here before time.

5. Once again what does this have to do with the message of the Bible, could the Heavens not have referred to the planets as well as the stars, the technology of the time did not allow people to actually see the planets so they did not know about them and more importantly did not need to know about them.

1. There are some animals in the Bible known as "behemoths" Some people consider behemoths to be dinosaurs. Another theory is all the dinosaurs died in the flood. See Noah had to take two of each kind of animal. But in reality he took two cats (he couldn't take two of each breed, only two total). So maybe instead of taking dinosaurs maybe Noah took two crocodiles or alligators.
You can look up "behemoth" in Job 40:14-16

2. Adam and Eve had to reproduce with each other. There had to be incest back then, between Adam's family and again with Noah's family. Back then the gene pool was not yet contaminated so incest was normal and natural. However once the gene pool became contaminated is probably around the time incest became a sin.

3. No one created God. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God has no beginning and no end. I know this is confusing, but there are some parts of life (such as how can God exist eternally) that are not mentioned in the Bible. I believe it is because God thinks they are not relevant for us to know. We just have to have faith. I also like to think of a circle. In a perfect circle there is no beginning or no end. Same thing with God. He is perfect, therefore He has no beginning or no end.

4. Maybe the planets are not as relevant to us as earth and Heaven. We live on earth and will do so until the day we die or until Christ comes back, whichever is sooner. Heaven and hell are relevant because every human who has ever existed will either spend eternity in one of those places, depending on the ultimate choice they make in life. If God wanted us to know more about the planets then what we can discover on our own, I am pretty sure He would have put them somewhere in His Word.

If you have anymore questions do not hesitate to ask or e-mail me. May God bless you.

The bible account talks about seven time periods. Dinosaurs were in a time period before the first humans. Adam and Eve were Perfect human beings. Therefore their DNA structure must be infinitely greater than our own. They lived six hundred years or more. Yes, their children married each other (no complications with offspring, being so close to perfection). Noah on the ark had three sons who were married to different women. This is not a case of incest. The bible states many things about planets and stars. It states quite clearly that the earth is a circle and 'hangs on nothing' and that God knows the name of each and every star. In the Beginning he created the Heavens. Which means Everything out there. The bible was not written for narration or for thrills. It documentation in style and like most good literature, it needs thought and decoding to see what it's author means.

Sweet Pea I'm glad that you always believed in God right from when you were a little Girl, and there is nothing wrong with questioning, for it makes you search for true answers, did you know that even Bible writers asked questions such as: Why God allows wickedness and suffering. your first quesation is about why the Bible does not mention the dinasaurs, well it does but not by direct name, remember that Adam had the assignment of naming all the animals and when they were created they were not yet individualy named because Adam had not yet been created. Adam and Eve reproduced just like two humans today reproduce, and their line carried on through their children,In the flood of Noah's day every one else died apart from Noah and his family(consisting of his wife three sons and their wives)so all of us living today come from one of Noah's son's and wives. The planets also were not mentioned seperately, as you say it says in (Genesis1:"1) In the beginning God created the heavens(which includs the galaxies, stars,suns and planets) and the earth, God made you and me also, yet he does not mention your name or mine in the Bible, but does that mean we do not exist?I don't know how these questions can make you doubt God for there are simple explanations for them,if you have a further question, just ask, otherwise I hope this answers your questions adequately for you.

I can't answer all those in this forum, so I'll just tackle a couple and refer you to a book that does answer them all: Evidence that Demands A Verdict by Josh McDowell. Re: Dinosaurs. They are written about in Job 40:15 and following verses and all of chapter 41. It talks about a "tail that sways like a cedar," and "his back has rows of shields tightly sealed together," etc.
No one created God. He is the first cause (as science says). We can't fully understand not having a beginning and always existing since WE are human. We imagine everything has to be "born" or created. The Creator of the universe also created the concepts of time and space that we are limited to currently.

Dinosaurs did exist and were in the bible:

Job 40:15-19
15 "Look at the behemoth, [a]
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
16 What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!
17 His tail [b] sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
18 His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron.
19 He ranks first among the works of God,
yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.

people say it couldve been a hippo or elephant. but which one of those has a tail the size of a cedar?

Also.. i know you didnt ask... but dragons!:

Job 41:14-22
14 Who dares open the doors of his mouth,
ringed about with his fearsome teeth?
15 His back has [a] rows of shields
tightly sealed together;
16 each is so close to the next
that no air can pass between.
17 They are joined fast to one another;
they cling together and cannot be parted.
18 His snorting throws out flashes of light;
his eyes are like the rays of dawn.
19 Firebrands stream from his mouth;
sparks of fire shoot out.
20 Smoke pours from his nostrils
as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds.
21 His breath sets coals ablaze,
and flames dart from his mouth.
22 Strength resides in his neck;
dismay goes before him.

About Adam and Eve... i dont think it says they were the only ones on earth... i dont know for sure though.. but they reproduced:

Genesis 4:1-2
1 Adam [a] lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. [b] She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth [c] a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil.

Genesis 4:17-18
17 Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech. (and so on...)

noah:
His sons had their wives with them and im assuming they reproduced just like adam, eve and cain!

God is God.. if youre christian you should know this. Noone created him.. he created himself i guess you can say. and it does say "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth... im pretty sure planets were included. wouldnt you include the stars and clouds? etc?

I hope i helped out atleast a little.. God Bless.

There are many questions that will never be answered, as for some of the things you mentioned, I believe the "flood" to be local, not world wide (all they knew was their immediate surroundings) and "the heavens and the earth" I take that as heavens meaning the entire cosmos.
