Why exactly do you disagree? What exact belief or beliefs is is that you find to be "untrue"?

Also, what faith do you belong to, if any?

Thanks for the responses. I ask this in total respect with no intent to offend or criticize any one.

From an article from the KC Star today:

"The Springfield area man and his children were on a church trip, and he said the whole experience had been like “an outdoor version of the Jerry Springer Show.”

“I was shocked,” he said. “This is my first time down here. I won’t come again. It’s not family-oriented.”

When I read his statement that 'he was shocked'.... LIAR!!!!

Now, I'm a Christian and from the KC area, I know what happens when you float on the Niangua River in MO. It's infamous for parties!!! If you live in this state...you know!!!

What Church would take their family and church group to a party river?

Their are party floats and family floats. Wouldn't YOU check out the place and the enviroment before you sent your Church kids down there?

Is Judas an example that not everyone that goes to church is going to be saved? Judas believed in Jesus, looks like this is not enough.

Jesus said,"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel). Mark 1:15

I understand that people have their beliefs, but why do they believe that if you're not Christian, then you are going to Hell? Do they believe that their religion is the only right one and no one else's could be right? How is that possible?

7 months ago I converted from Christianity to Islam. In those seven months, I have had a very difficult time praying. I live at home (I have to) and share a room with my brother. My room and the bathroom are the only places I have enough privacy to pray. Recently, by brother has made it his mission to come into our room and sabotage me while I pray (i.e. pushing me, pulling my scarf off, playing music very loudly, ect.) therefore praying in my room can only be done maybe once a day if I hurry. The other rooms in the house, my parents room, the living room and kitchen always have people in them and the bathroom...I think you can guess why I don't want to pray in there. What i am most worried about is that Allah will not forgive me for this, even if I make the prayers up (I have them all tallied up, the ones I've missed) I would like to know what you think of my situation and would like some (any!) advice!!! Thank you.

Salaam

Where did the space for the universe come from?
Where did matter come from?
Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?
How did matter get so perfectly organized?
Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?
When, where, why, and how did life come from non-living matter?
When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?
With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?
Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?)
How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)
Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?

I have studied alittle with my wife, who is a witness, but while i agree, and would like to believe in alot of there teachings, i dont think i could ever agree with everything. I also believe they tend to be to strict and controling, to the point of family membors turning on each other.
I think the message of paradise on earth is a wonderful and beautiful idea, but i get the impression they wont welcome my views on other details. Any advice or experiance?

I feel it is past time for all humans to forget god and Jesus and move to a higher level of self confidence. What has Jesus done for the world lately? You may imagine he has helped you, but he seems to be very bigeted against anyone who does not genuflect. Elimininate Jesu, Allah, Yahweh, etal and the world will be a very loving and peaceful place place to raise children.

The other day I posted a bible question. What I wanted to know was why Christians accept the bible as 100% fact. How can they swear that when it was first put into writing, it was correct? I was asking a question, not making a statement. I wanted links to non-bias (not churches, that is biased) sources so I could read this for myself. It was a "If I am wrong, show me" type of question. I had a bunch of replies stating that I was in fact wrong. There was only opinions given as responses and in the end there were no links posted. Is this really the best that can be provided? Was the "?" at the end of the sentence over look? Or is it that programmed brain-washing thing going on and creative thinking is not possible?

To treat a human being (His own creation) in such fashion for a bet with the devil is one of the worst sins I have come across and this is from our own God.

Will my sympathy for Job and my distaste of how God treated him block my passage into heaven and take me to the depths of hell?

And if so why?

The bible sais that women should be quiet and subjective to their husbands in the book of Timothy. I think this is a crock of sh*t. Shouldnt women be treated with equal respect and shouldnt they have a say in life? Did Christ teach that a woman's place is in the kitchen? What is His stand on equality?
