have a decent life. Do you see things that could have made life easier for them in their adult life if you had taught it to them? Mmm

After you do something, do you ever look back and say to yourself, "I could have done this better, and this better, etc."

I think you would have to be an egotistical moron not to find things you could do better in anything you do, including parenting.

If I had waited longer before having my children things could have been easier for us all. But the past is the past can't change it without a domino effect changing everything..

My kids 19,17 and 10 are turning out pretty good if I do say so myself.. They each have a few flaws but we all do...

Nope no regrets.. I did the best I could, I failed sometimes but I picked myself up and kept on trying...

Knowing that I did the best for them that I knew how, gives me no regrets. When I didn't know, I asked for help. No regrets. When they needed a hug, I gave them two. When then needed discipline, I gave that to them too, with the knowledge that it was about their lesson not mine.
My son's life didn't meet his potential, and I asked him if he thought that there was somethings I should have done for him that would have made his path better. He shook his head, said no, it wasn't you, I know that you did everything right for me. I made my own decisions and choices.
In my heart I know I always did for him the best that I knew, the best that I could afford and the best that I could go out and bring to him, so I say I have no regrets, because I lifted him as high as I could.

I know my mother did the best she knew how to...the second greatest thing she taught me was how to read before I started Kindergarten! The First Greatest thing she did was taught me how to pray, and get to know Jesus...she used to read the Bible and Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories, and the Bible Stories to my sis and I. I am still faithful to my God and King!
As for my own grown child...I do regret letting her get in touch with her mother after 10 years of no contact. She decided that living in a household without a moral compass was better for her, and in the process, she stabbed me in the back to get there. I only hope the good things I taught her will sink in and she will get right with her Creator before Jesus returns to take us home.

I have no regrets raising my only son to be independent, consientious, and caring for others. I don;\'t think it mattered that he was an only child, he said he always had things to do and family Cousins to play with. I think the way he was brought up made him a stonger, more resilient person. I would'nt have done it differently.

I just take thanks that they have grown up with their heads fairly straight on. Normal almost. No alcoholics or drug dealers, or promiscuous. No pretty normal. Amazing.
