I understand that people have their beliefs, but why do they believe that if you're not Christian, then you are going to Hell? Do they believe that their religion is the only right one and no one else's could be right? How is that possible?

as a non-christian non-believer, i don't really believe in heaven or hell, so i could really care less. xians usually say that because they're so insecure with themselves they want to transfer their insecurity on someone else. although i will say when i die i hope my decomposing body will give life to a nice oak tree or something.

"Christianity" is not a religion. It is based completely on the Word of God ( 2 Peter 2:20-21 ). I most definitely believe that the Word of God is the one and only way that man can ever find redemption and receive Eternal life through Christ
( John 14:6 ). Christian's didn't make up that non-believer's will not be in heaven...God's Word says it and I believe it because God does not lie ( Mark 3:28-29 ). Blasphemy is a heart attitude of unbelief, a rejecting of the Holy Spirit. Believing in Jesus is the only way to heaven because Jesus alone died for you and me.

If there is a truth and you refuse to believe it, do you gain any benefit at all from that truth? No. If I put a million dollars in a bank account in your name, having never met you, then tell you it's there for you, free and clear, and you never bother to find out if it is or not, what have you gained from it? Nothing. There is a truth: There is a God, there is sin, and no one unforgiven of sin will see Heaven, for Heaven is a place where only the holy can exist. That is fact, and it is unshakable. The only question that remains is, by what means can one become holy? There is, in all of history, only one answer to that question, given by God in His Word: Jesus Christ. Sin came into the human race through Adam's sin, and can be forgiven because of Jesus' sinless life. Note that this is not something that men decided, it is the edict of the One True God, the Almighty, the Creator. We should be grateful that He chose to provide a way instead of constantly questioning the way that He made. Man always has wanted a means of self-justification, but no fallen man can become holy again; it's just not possible. God gave us ONE AND ONLY ONE way to regain our status as holy: His Son. You may believe it or not.

I dont know if hell is an actual place or if it was being used to describe what eternal life without living in the presence of God will be like for those who do not believe. Either way, it is the belief of those who follow God that those who do not will not have the blessing of being with him. Some people say that all others will go to a bad place...I am not sure so do not make a comment about it.

By definition a Christian believes and follows the teachings in the New Testament. So the following scriptures speak for themselves concerning what is in store for those who reject God's free gift of salvation through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.John 2:22

Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Luke 12:4

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We believe what God says. You don't have a problem with us. Your problem is with the Word of God. It leaves no other path to which you can have your sins forgiven. There is no other way to be saved, other than repentance of sin, and forgiveness through Jesus death, burial and resurection! God bless!!

We believe that way because that's what God's Word, the Bible, teaches us.

Jesus taught that there is only one way to heaven, and that's by believing on Him.

i ought to do stable deeds from now till doomsday, and it does not exchange the certainty of the undesirable issues i've got till now carried out one little bit. in simple terms forgiveness heals those, and that isn't be in a position to be bought or bargained for. That having been pronounced, the end results of different religions have been plenty comparable to those of Christianity, for better or worse, so I ought to have confidence that God is conversing by those religions too.

I think most religious people believe their religion is the right one, and there has to be some punishment for rejecting it. As far as hell is concerned, it is a good scare tactic for believers to keep them in line, but I doubt it helps much in recruiting followers.

I believe in God and Jesus, but I couldn't agree more. Many Christians feel they have a monopoly on heaven.I can't and don't want to understand this God they worship. Its not the God I love.

The Bible clearly states that if a person denies Christ, He will deny them before His Father. If you can find another way to God then good for you.
