Hello all, I pray that you are doing well today. Let's examine some things about truth today.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free John 8:32
How does one know the truth? By two or three witnessess truth is established in Duet. 19:15 for there it states that " at the mouth of two witnessess, or at the mouth of three witnessess, shall the matter be established. This is also repeated in 2 Cor. 13:1
Truth is not a function of the mind for it can only entertain facts and information. If the facts or information is false the result will not be truth. Truth is a function of our regenerated human spirit. We are told "the natural (lost) man recieveth not the things of the Spirit of God... neither can he show them, because they are spiritually discerned(unerstood in the spirit and not the mind) 1Cor. 2:14
For believers to accept something as truth it must be verified by 2 or 3 witnessess. Where do we as believers obtain these witnessess? Standby for more....

In the last decade scientists from several research groups had tested the mitochondrial DNA of over 2000 American Indians from about a hundred tribes scattered over the length of the Americas. It soon became apparent to me that about 99% of their female lineages were brought into the Americas in excess of 12,000 years ago. Almost all of these lineages are most closely related to those of people in Asia, particularly in southern Siberia near Mongolia. Several tribes in Mesoamerica (which included Aztecs and Mayans) had been tested and all but a couple of individuals out of about 500 had mitochondrial DNA of Asian origin. How is this possible if they came from Israel and the tribe of Joseph... Please explain.. Jim

Possible excuses:

1. Ignorance. Its possible that a person fails to disrespect the horrible religion of Islam because they are ignorant of it, however, almost all armed conflict in the entire world is Islamic, therefore we are talking about a seriously ignorant person.

2. Stupidity. Many people are just plain stupid. For example, many people believe that any belief which is commonly classified as a "religion" automatically deserves respect. Such stupidity and weakness hardly deserves further mention other than to say that there is no magical event that occurs when a belief is labeled a religion. Islam proves that religious belief can be even more savage than the most savage non-religious belief (ex: Nazism).

3. Self-Hating. These are the people who answer the famous life-boat question with "I would sacrifice my worthless self and let the other more important people live". Self-haters are the apologists for Islamic insanity. We deserve the insanity and horror of Islam somehow.

All Christians seem to agree that the crucifixion was necessary in order for salvation. In order for this to take place, Judas had to betray Jesus. My question... Why would God's plan involve have Judas as a scapegoat? His betrayal was part of the plan, so really he had NO choice BUT to betray Jesus! Why would a kind, loving God allow a man to be villified throughout history for helping to fulfill God's plan for salvation? You can argue that he had free will, but in essence he didn't, because it was all part of the plan. Why would you want your salvation to ride on the back of this horrible act of betrayal on Gods part?
