Woo Hoo.
I guess you missed the part where the husband is supposed to honor his wife and not divorce her.
Does your logic also apply to the domination of children?
I mean, it also says that children are to submit to their parents.
Should not they be freed from this oppression?
( maybe the green hair dye messed up your brain?)

True
Leviticus 12:1-8 Says that a woman has to be purified after giving birth because she is “unclean”,birthing a male is cleaner then birthing a female, hence a mother must purify TWICE as long when having a daughter.
Leviticus 18:19 Goes onto say that even LOOKING at a menstruating woman is wrong
Leviticus 27:3-7 God places a dollar value on human life; with women worth less than men
Numbers 30:3-16 A woman can’t make a vow unless her husband allows it.
Deuteronomy 22:23-24 says that women who are raped and fail to “cry out loud” should be killed.
For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head;" 1 Corinthians 11:9, 10.

It was not the case originally! They epurate Catholicism from womenly influences when it became a Roman state religions. So to avoid women get involved in states affairs! So it was directed like this since the very beginning of Christianity acceptation. But it was not the case originally! Mary Magdalene got her own writings and followers, but was later denigrated by John the Bathist who was an open mysoginistic man! Anyways, most christians keep reading the bible but don`t research too much over what is writen there, and what was intended to be writen earlier... All of this made under the corruption of man!

Maybe the angel of Death is assumed to be female; will have to check to see if that angel is referred to as male or not. Early matriarchy may have assumed men were strong enough to handle temptation; that would eradicate sexist since one made a wrong assumption and the other fell victim to it. Also, male tendency is to protect the mother and the young while she is nursing, would create the existence of making families in order to avoid the female being tricked into being with the wrong man. It's debatable whether or not God would have a female partner in guiding humanity. Not a popular idea unless you believe Jesus is God and Mary is the wife of God; female divinity other than this not mentioned so much except in mythology

I Timothy 2:13-14 - For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived broke God's law. (she was the first to sin in the bible)
God loves men and women equally but in his creation he has chosen a chain of command: God, Jesus, man, woman, children. A lot of women don't like this but I feel they are shortchanging themselves of a great blessing. Personally I don't want to be the "boss". For even though men are given the job of leadership in marriage, church, etc, they are also given extra responsibility and accountability. God knows what he is doing, relax in that and obey. You will notice when men rule over women, they are demasculated and that is not what God intended.

In a Patriarchal Society, what would you expect other than male domination?
Women at the time were treated as possessions, and/or with the specific call to motherhood upon their lives. This is NOT a secondary calling, it was vital to the faith and a most honorable purpose to one's life.
In the the Jewish tradition, bloodline followed the mother's family since it was through the mother that the Redeemer would come.
The stories of the great women of the Bible are NOT to be overlooked, or considered as secondary.

how was it just Eve who messed it up? Have you even read what you are criticizing? Do you know how many amazing women there are in the Bible that God used for His glory?..I doubt it. I also doubt you care but I'll name a few:
Hagar
Ruth
Rahab
Mary
Elizabeth
Sarah
THe Queen of Sheba
The Pharoah's Daughter
Hannah, Samuel's Mother
and my personal favorite, ESTHER
the list goes on, but you are so caught up in your PC chip on your shoulder attitude to further investigate. ANd who CARES if it was written by men????
Thank You, Bobby Jim!

I will go out on a limb, it was both of their faults. The woman was the first one tempted. I guess that's why women have children. The words of the bible can be traced. Its like a history book. Now you have asked a good question! I will be thinking about that!

THAT is your evidence to support your thought???
Read the entire Bible, and you will discover MANY good surprises.
Christianity is certainly NOT sexist.
Christianity DOES recognize the GOD GIVEN roles though.
This does not mean one is superior, and the other inferior, one lesser, or greater, no, not at all!
Consider something, as long as you went to Genesis...
God commanded Adam about that tree, NOT Eve.
Eve ate, but their eyes were NOT opened until AFTER Adam ate.
There is much, much more to the Bible accounts than you have found out, and there are implications many do miss.

I find your comments sexist! Females need to learn to except the good with the bad. I’ve heard countless women complain, saying God is female, but they never think that Satan might be a woman. And I don’t think Eve messed everything up because hell, Adam ate the apple after her! Then blamed her for making him do it. Its all the individuals fault. How many male figures have been publicly scorned in the bible? How many females were scorned? Even Mary, the mother of Jesus, is held in high regard in Catholicism. Saying simply, that because Jesus didn’t have a vagina is sexist makes you the very thing your trying to fight!

And what is your point. I got drafted into Vietnam, no girl did.
It's not always good to be the male.
Aren't the draft laws sexist.
