probably not. as he didn't like the greeks in smyrna who were killed by the turkish, the armenians who were also killed by the turkish, the jews that were killed by hitler, the iraquis that were killed by the americans and all those people who die every day, by ''accident'', diseases etc.

I think about this when things like what you brought up are brought up:
Luke 13
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
So it's not that God had anything against anyone. But it's more important to consider where you are at with the Grace that God gives to thosee who trust Him. Then if such a thing were to happen to any of us, we would still be able to overcome it by God's promise of resurrection.
So ask yourself, "Do I want to know God, or not?"

Awww...that's so sad. = (
God didn't do anything....it's not his place to interfere.
It was just an unfortunate accident...
