Hello all, I pray that you are doing well today. Let's examine some things about truth today.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free John 8:32
How does one know the truth? By two or three witnessess truth is established in Duet. 19:15 for there it states that " at the mouth of two witnessess, or at the mouth of three witnessess, shall the matter be established. This is also repeated in 2 Cor. 13:1
Truth is not a function of the mind for it can only entertain facts and information. If the facts or information is false the result will not be truth. Truth is a function of our regenerated human spirit. We are told "the natural (lost) man recieveth not the things of the Spirit of God... neither can he show them, because they are spiritually discerned(unerstood in the spirit and not the mind) 1Cor. 2:14
For believers to accept something as truth it must be verified by 2 or 3 witnessess. Where do we as believers obtain these witnessess? Standby for more....

Consider: we are told to test the spirits (1 John4:1-3) and that the Holy Spirit will bear witness with our spirits in order to know the truth.
If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" John 8:32

Truth; conformity to fact or actuality; faithfulness to an original or to a standard. Truth is a moral and personal characteristic of God; He is the God of truth (Is, 65;16). God is truth; the spirit is truth; and Jesus is truth, The law was given through Moses, but the grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). If we live as close as we can as Jesus did, then we should know the truth. If we know to do good and we do it not then it is a sin unto us, saying that, are we set free by the truth? Yes we are, because we new to do the truth and did it not! This is the soul purpose of having Jesus Christ's spirit, so that we shall know the truth, so we can be set free from the bondage's of lies, that the enemy so deceitfully bounds us to.

Wow. Very nicely put. Perhaps the most intelligent thing I've read in months. Clear, concise, logical. And I don't say that because I agree with it (though I do), but simply because it is eloquently stated. You have an admirer and a star! Thank you for a brief moment of intelligent, spiritual insight.

Apollo hadn't been baptized interior the Holy Spirit. as quickly as baptized interior the Holy Spirit we are able to get carry of presents no longer given at salvation jointly with praying in tongues and any of the different presents. the respond is right here: Acts 19 Paul in Ephesus a million jointly as Apollos became at Corinth, Paul took the line with the aid of the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and requested them, "Did you get carry of the Holy Spirit while [a] you believed?" They replied, "No, we've not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit." 3 So Paul requested, "Then what baptism did you get carry of?" "John's baptism," they replied. 4 Paul pronounced, "John's baptism became a baptism of repentance. He informed the human beings to have faith interior the only coming after him, this is, in Jesus." 5 On listening to this, they have been baptized into [b] the call of the Lord Jesus. 6 while Paul located his palms on them, the Holy Spirit got here on them, and that they spoke in tongues [c] and prophesied.

You need to get saved before you even attempt to tell us Christians about truth. It would be better that a mill stone was tied around your neck then you that you lead one of these little ones astray. Repent, Satan, and get on the right road.

You skipped the first part of that Scripture.!...which answers your question..
Jesus said; " IF YOU CONTINUE IN MY WORD , you shall know the truth,, nad the truth shall set you free"..
That is how to know the truth ....obedience to his Word.!
