God doesn't send mentally challenged kids to hell. why? obviously, their mind can't comprehend the ideas behind christianity, islam, or whichever religion is right. lol.

what about others who can't find the benefits of accepting god? apparently their minds are not designed in such a manner necessary to find religion appealing.

these two examples are very much the same.

i know. free will. lol

You aren't born a believer or a nonbeliever, so the brain of a believer is seldom different from the mind of a nonbeliever. There's no difference in design between a Christian and an Atheist, a Muslim and an Atheist, a Jew and an Atheist, or a Buddhist and an Atheist. What they choose to believe in is their choice, not their birth decision.

I don't appreciate being compared to a mentally challenged child, simply because I don't believe in God.

God doesn't send stillborns to hell, either. It is said that those who accept Christ as their Savior and those who are incapable of understanding how will be accepted into heaven. It is only the people who have a competent mind and have had a chance to hear of Christ's message and gift and have chosen not to that go to hell. And, for the record, there is almost never an instance where a person has never in their life heard of Christianity or God. His message can even reach those in Ethiopia as I've witnessed firsthand when I travelled there. God will find a way to spread His message to everyone in the world. After all, He created it.

Hi. Glad to see someone having a good time!

part of what you said was:

what about others who can't find the benefits of accepting god? apparently their minds are not designed in such a manner necessary to find religion appealing

Accepting god has absolutely NOTHING to do with religion. Religion is only for those who can't find him by themselves. Religion only gives you CLUES on how to come to experience him, and you can't REALLY accept him till you actually experience him.

All the best to you and all

"Christ died for the sins of the whole world" Your question is only one of many when one believes in an eternal burning hell and limited atonement. The answer is, there is no eternal burning hell and limited atonement. I have been a fundamental Christian for many years and recently accepted the truth that everyone, someway, somehow, someday, will go to heaven. I do not discount sin as it all revolves around the cross.

The two examples are not the same at all.
Infants, toddlers, and some mentally handicapped people have an inability to use reason in their thinking.

Those who do not find the benefits of accepting God have perfect reasoning abilities, but they have reasoned deliberately (weighed the evidence) to reject God and align themselves with the world.

Yes, God has a higher law and Standard for judgment than mankind These are just two examples of how kind and generous God is to allow people before reaching the age of accountability into Heaven. Babies, retarded people, demon possessed people, and look at so many of God's heroes lying drinking sleeping with their daughters, marry their sisters, son having sex with their mothers, killing their servants to have their wives, David married 700 wives and Solomon married to 1000 wives and these people are our examples of how to live. The Bible pulls no punches in describing how the good men of the Bible failed so terribly but yet God suffers with them because they identify themselves with him, just as any Father would do for his son.

Yeah I agree with you apparently all dogs go to heaven, and I'm pretty sure they don't have the intelligence to worship god or accept jesus as their savior so why should I have to put that kind of work in to get a glimpse at the pearly gates. Well that's my opinion and I'm not gonna let facts or rational debate distort it.

They are very different. Mentally challenged peoples minds don't function right. Yours is just fine. You actually deny God. They don't even understand the concept.

Maybe He only sends the people that know He is real but pretend He isn't to hell and accepts the others that cant fathom His existence.
