Okay so if they existed in the dark age where man wasn't yet - how about people finding evidence of man during that time? One again, just a question because I am curious

yes, dinosaurs are in the bible, we believe they walked the earth with man. when god made earth he put a firmament (water canopy) over it. this is in gen. anyway this canopy shielded the earth from the harmful effects of the sun. this is why in bible days people lived hundreds of years old, because there were no uv rays causing potassium 40 which causes the aging process, people were healthier and lived longer. therefore animals lived longer as well, also reptiles, and reptiles grow as long as they live, so if you have a reptile that are several hundred years old then it will be very huge. when the flood of noah took place, this water canopy was part of the flood along with rain and under ground springs that burst open. these springs caused the continental drift. when flood ended there was no longer a protective canopy over earth, people were exposed to direct sunlight, causing a more rapid aging process, and other illnesses. all living things started to live much shorter lives, including reptiles, that no longer had enough time to grow as big. there is a museum in texas that contains a hammer that is believed to have been made pre-flood, because it is made of iron, phosphorous, and chlorine, these cannot mix and solidify in the presence of uv radiation. there are salt deposits on mount. tops, along with fish fossils, there have been the footprints of man and dinosaur found beside each other. job speaks of them and describes them in bible. also in bible the people of old testament claimed that the stars sang, this is caused by the quasar waves that are given off by stars penetrating the water covring, these waves caused a metallic sound, thus the people thought they were singing.the change of peoples race comes later at the tower of babel where they thought they could build a tower big enough to make it to heaven and not need god. so god confused their languages and races so they could not communincate. it is said that each major race were descendants of noah's 3 sons. one son's descendants became black, one white, and one a brown color, they later learned to communicate and married outside their races and mixed causing other colors. it has also been calculated by scientists that if you take the 8 surviving people off the ark, and allow them to start the multiplying of the earth, that given the amount of time from then til now there would be about 6 billion people on the earth at this time, give or take a few, that is pretty close. the ark landed in mount. ararat in turkey.

Yes. Dinosaurs existed. Their bones are proof of that.
The Bible is about the age of man, and creation of this present world as it is.
It all leads to the birth of Jesus Christ. Everything in the OT, as well as the NT.
If there are those that cannot see the correlation and the evidence of the OT that all points to the birth of the Messiah that would save the world from the sins that Adam and Eve brought upon men, then those people are completely missing the importance of the entire Bible. It is all about Christ. Christ is at the very epicenter of the Bible. All of it.

The Bible therefore does not elaborate on dinosaurs. Why? Because from a spiritual standpoint, and in accordance to salvation through Jesus Christ, they simply do not matter. Unimportant.

I believe that God is all-powerful, and is able to wipe life away from the face of the earth at will, just as He can heal the earth. Man destroys. God heals and creates. He told Adam and Eve to multiply and replenish the earth. Can one replenish something that was never there in the first place?
Be it His use of the ice age, or sickness, climatic change, or even a giant meteor, one thing is certain: The dinosaurs no longer exist. They were wiped from the face of the earth.

haha well it really depends on who you ask. Christians don't really have a definite point in this argument because it's not relevant for us. Yea you are right we don't believe in evolution but we the way we fit dinosaurs into everything, (or at least my belief) is that dinosaurs existed in the time where everything was really dark and before God created humans. That's just what I think maybe I am wrong, but good question!

OMG! I just had a argument about this exact thing with my lover who by the way is a " Christian ". But his genius mind came to the conclusion that when G-d made the earth, he had made those old bones. As for Adam and Eve that specific story was barrowed by the Christians from the Jews. It is said that Adam had not one but two wives. The first one being Lillith. We see this in Genisus where it says " Let Us Create Man in Our Own Image, In Their own Image He created Them. So, we have to use our own intelligence here. What do we know to be true by science, and what do we believe to be true from our Faith. I guess that is what it alls boils down to.

OMG, The insanity. I was ready to leave him right then. I mean we know from science viewing history that some of the arch types in the Torah/Bible existed( Abram aka Abraham, David,Solomon, because science has been able to prove much. Not vica versa.

Evil Omen

By the way, not ALL Christian's believe this to be true. Some are realists and take the Bible for what it is supposed to be.: Pearls and Hope.

Many (including the Pope) do believe in evolution. Those who don't tend to suppose that dinosaurs existed during human history, which is of course totally contrary to the evidence.

Yes, I do believe in Dinosaurs. How do I "fit" dinosaurs in the Bible?

1. In the Bible before the flood, people lived to be hundreds of years old.
2. The reptiles also lived to be hundreds of years old.
3. Reptiles don't stop growing until they die.
4. Thus, the reptiles grew for hundreds of years, producing much larger reptiles than what we see today.

Each christian religion is different in this aspect, extremists believe that dinosaurs and men coexisted about 6,000 years ago, that t-rex ate coconuts, and a whole slew of things that have already been proven wrong. Many more liberal christians, such as the lutherans I grew up around, believe in evolution but say that god created the big bang and ultimately the universe.

check drdino.com for the extreme version, its honestly the funniest site, its a parody of its self.

Apes are also created beings. Man was created in a perfect condition, so those that lived before the flood were much more intelligent that we are today. I believe that they had perfected what we are trying to do today with cloning and crossing of different species. I believe that dinosaurs were amalgamations of different species. God did not create them, so they were not on Noah's ark, but all of them died in the flood.

What is your alternative? That people came from dinosaurs?
One has little to do with the other.
Dinosaurs evidence exists therfore dinosaurs existed. What is the problem?
