I have found that most athiest I have met on YA are hypocrits. They themselve do not want to be told what to believe in but they are always asking "questions" that imply that what others believe is wrong and they they should become and athiest. Just wondering why they don't practice what they preach?

This symbol is found in a few churches in England. The 3 rabbits have 3 ears between them, but each appear to have 2 ears. These symbols are usually Medieval or older. the church says the symbol symbolizes the trinity, they don't elaborate on which trinity it symbolizes. It is most likely Pagan as the symbol is apparently also found in some Buddhist temples of the same age. Does anyone have any further information about this symbol?

I joined this church a few months ago and the ladies in the church encouraged me to get the gift of speaking in tongue. I finally got it. Now the ladies are telling me I should speak it every time I pray. I'm confused. Should I use it every time I pray? Shouldn't there be someone there to translate it for me?. Its never going to happen regardless of your faith:
1) most likely scenario- the bible is fiction
2) jesus said I will come like a thief in the night so if everyone is sitting around the house waiting up all night its likely the thief wont come in.

At BYU, do they...
...teach that Native Americans are the descendants of Asian peoples, not Hebrews?
...teach the Bering Strait Hypothesis?
...teach the exact location of Kolob?
...teach true Bible history and ways that Biblical scholars can determine the Book of Mormon is false?
...teach religious studies courses without Mormon opinion being involved?

just curious...it is a university after all, i'm just wondering if the students get a legit/truthful education there?

We live in an amazing universe. It is a universe peculiarly balanced, and purposefully tempered as if to provide a safe host for living creatures.

the God within us (the soul) is the observer that does nothing (or something) with our free will? I guess I'm asking if God is here on earth differently than we think? The observant God not doing anything to alleviate suffering is hard to comprehend. Yet, if we look at it from a soul viewpoint, then it makes more sense, maybe. Agree?
