It seems like it wouldn't be right to celebrate the resurrection of Christ with sex worshppers traditions. Like the Easter bunny and the colored eggs. Or the sun worship of the Evergeen tree and a pack of lies with the suposed birth of Christ Jesus.
I mean he really wasn't born then. Does this seem okay?

Salman Rushdie has written Satanic Verses in 1988. He has maligned Prophet Mohammed therefore he has done great sin. Muslims have condemned his Knighthood. I personally think he should not have been Knighted. It has been 19 years since he has written the Satanic Verses. Why has not Allah (God) punished or killed Mr Rushdie?

Mr Vaughn gunned down his wife and three kids then shot himself in the leg to avoid being a suspect.

They were all members of the New Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Charles, Mo.

The church was a special place for the Vaughn family, they attended since its 1994 inception and it was the place the kids were later baptized. Kimberly Vaughn's parents still attend the church.

How very sad for the innocent children.

Many are so high minded about the OPINION that "Thief not being baptised" pertaining to Luke 23:40-42.

According to the bible, it never says weather the theif was or never baptised, The theif is assumed to have not been baptised by most Christians claiming that Baptism isn't nessecary.

The man had honesty and courage as seen in his rebuke of the other robber, he appeared to fear God, acknowledged his guilt. accepted his deserved punishment, showed respect for Jesus, defended Jesus' innocence, and had some knowledge of Jesus' kingdom (Luke 23:40-42).

The day Jesus died, he DID NOT go to Heaven, Scripture says he went to Hell (Acts 2:31) so this means that the Thief also went to hell but it was a different part. According to history, it was understood in the past ages that hades was divided into two parts‑first, paradise, the unseen abode of the embodied spirits of the righteous and, secondly, tartarus, the unseen abode of disembodied spirits of the wicked (cf. Luke 16:19-31).

Isn't it an honor to be near God and humbling at the same time?

When Christians believe they are "worthless servants," as Jesus instructed them to believe Lk17:10, does this mean that God denigrates the human race? Is this not a righteous attitude (wedding garments Mt22:11-12) that Christians put on gladly in respect to the Great I AM? Christians willingly, readily accept that they are much less than God especially as they grow closer and closer to Him. Many Christians experience the awesome presence of God in communion and are humbled by it.

Christians are in the presence of God at Church which is an honor. Christians know that God is present and allowing them to be very near Him and in communion with Him. When Christians approach God, they are humbled by His presence and honored by Him that He allows them to be His servants.

Christians choose to be God's humble servants and are honored to do so.

This is my opinion, what's yours?

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

not pass away until all these things are fullifilled. Jesus was taling about a generation to come as there is a lot of mis concetions about the bible. As you know the Jews were scattered around the world after the resserection of Jesus because they failed to accept thier Messiah. After about 2000 years Israel became a nation again in 1948 and in 1967 in the 6 day war Israel recaptured Jerusalam back by the hand of God. The generation Jesus spoke about that when you see all these things fillfilled then know your redemption is right at the door. This is the only generation that has seen the return of Isreal by the Jews back to thier homeland, somthing that was propheciced about 2,500 years ago by the old testement prophets. Now this is also the only gereration that has seen the birth of the EU and that was formed in 1948 same year as Israel became a nation again. This is the only generation that is seeing the greatest natural disasters af all times around the world, from flooding,

HOW DO I REFLECT THAT TO HER? I DONT HAVE THE RIGHT WORDS. I BELIEVE THE LORD IS WORKING IN HER. BUT SHE HAS HARDENED HER HEART. HOW DO I EVANGELIZE?

even when its ideas you dont agree with or find offensive or absurd or silly or rude. free speech is always controversial. i value the internet because its the last bastion of free speech. everything else in the media has been filtered and watered-down.

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
The word in the bible (we read to you) is living and active. The word (in the bible) is truely Gods word. This is why it is so hard to hear. It penitrates and judges us. We do not judge, but Gods word judges. So when you say Chritians are judging you with the bible, now you know we are just messengers for God. God is the one judging. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27

What do you think it gets you, from reading the quote?

"Every human being hath two inclinations - one prompting him to good and impelling him thereto, and the other prompting him to evil and thereto impelling him; but Divine assistance is nigh, and he who asketh the help of God in contending with the evil promptings of his own heart obtaineth it.

The best of good acts in God's sight is that which is constantly attended to although in a small degree."
