The zoo in my city covers an area of 15 hectares and houses approximately 1/450,000th of the animal species on the planet.
So that means the Ark would have to be about the size of florida. One would think that would make this boat the easiest historical object ever for archaeologists to find and positively identify. Hiding in the basement of the Vatican, perhaps?

Self righteous:
having too high an opinion of one's own merits, and being intolerant of other people's faults.

" God doesn't exist. Why can't you uneducated fools see that?"
"Evolution is a fact. Do you people ever read?"
"I'm an atheist because I was smart enough to realize what a crock religion is and how hypocritical christians are."

so I can move to an area that has Mercedes and Porsche cars? Just in case the rapture happens, I want to get myself a nice ride when they all go. Unlike christians who think their logic is 100% watertight I will concede that I cannot prove the rapture won't happen therefore will have to allow it .000000000000000000000000001% chance.

psalm 50:16 But to the sinner, God says, What are you doing, talking of my laws, or taking the words of my agreement in your mouth?
50:17 Seeing that you have no desire for my teaching, turning your back on my words.
50:18 When you saw a thief, you were in agreement with him, and you were joined with those who took other men's wives.
50:19 You have given your mouth to evil, your tongue to words of deceit.
50:20 You say evil of your brother; you make false statements against your mother's son.
50:21 These things have you done, and I said nothing; it seemed to you that I was such a one as yourself; but I will make a protest against you, and put them in order before your eyes.
50:22 Now keep this in mind, you who have no memory of God, for fear that you may be crushed under my hand, with no one to give you help:
50:23 Whoever makes an offering of praise gives glory to me; and to him who is upright in his ways I will make clear the salvation of God.

Do you believe that people with mental illness go to hell? Like a Sociopath who murders or hurts people.. or depressed/bipolar people who kill themselves? Because it's a disesase...Or what about people who can't really control their behavior because of a mental illness like Borderlines who are prone to sleeping around and developing drug or alchohol addictions or the Histrionics/pathelogical liars lie constantly but can't stop.. do you think stuff like that is forgiven even when the sin continues or the sufferer hasn't asked?
Hope this question makes sense to someone.. I'm pretty tired.

What do you think of what he had to say about Islam not spreading by the sword?

"MAHATMA GANDHI, speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in (YOUNG INDIA):

"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.""

Not looking for silly answers today, not in the mood. So the bible tells us that all sins will be judged equally in the end, why is it then that sins such as lieing to our mothers about stealing the last cookie out of the cookie jar, can be forgiven but it says that the adulterous and others will not inherit the kingdom of heaven and so on and so forth. The bible also tells us to love all people as our brothers, yet it then contradicts itself and tells us that whores, homosexuals, and other sinners are bad. The bible also states that Jesus himself hung out with the crack-whores so to speak, because he was not above them. I guess my Yahoo! Question would be, what is God asking us to do? is he asking us to hate all people that dont follow the strict rules of the bible, or is he asking us to accept and forgive them, but not to become them?

Just give your feedback, try to be serious

I guess when I myself think about what the heterosexual lifestyle is I could imagine it might encompass hookers and their Johns, or it might be middle class families living in suburbia happily or it might be much the same type folk having covert adulterous affairs on the side, it might be trailer trash types in casual relationship...oh the list is probably endless...

Ok so Ive debated on this matter for a very long time because it affects me personally. the state does not recgonize marriage unless you have that piece of paper from the courthouse stating u are married. SO what if u are in a relationship for a VERY long time say 8 years as i have been and aren't married how do we know God doesn't see us as being married? is there somewhere in the bible that states u have to have a preacher marry u in order to be married thru Gods eyes? I hope this makes sense. its hard for me to explain it......thanks!

We all know that adultery is commited when you are IN a relationship (you are violating the relationship)---but the Bible mentions specifically adultery and forication, in different ways, so they must have different connotations. Opinions please?

What do you think about what he has to say about Muhammad (PBUH)?

"LAMARTINE, the renowned historian speaking on the essentials of human greatness wonders:

"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes.

There are countless websites of girls who were rapped by gans in western countries. Judges 19:24-25 "Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go."
Judges 19 describe a father who offers his virgin daughter to a drunken mob. When the father says "unto this man do not so vile a thing," he makes clear that sexual abuse should never befall a man (meaning him), yet a woman, even his own flesh and blood, or a concubine belonging to a perfect stranger, can receive punishment from men to do what they wish. This attitude against women still persists to this day and we have the Bible, in large part, to thank for this attitude against
